I do not mean to offend Xenomorph, but you seem to be unwilling to acknowledge any weaknesses that a croc has.  If it is your favorite animal I could understand why (I'd probably do the same if a tiger or owl was concerned).

But it does have weaknesses, and can be put onto its belly by animal such as a bear if the initial strike missed.  And, unless my research is faulty, they lose some of their speed out of the water.  Mostly they depend on the element of surprise to attack, and once that is lost, they've lost a weapon they regularly use.

(And being reptiles, they have time to afford for mistakes, because unless I'm mistaken they only need to eat once every month or so . . . or that could be andacondas I'm thinking of.)

No, I mean, if this were a "favorite animal to morph" thing, mine would be a tiger, easily.

I just can't see how a bear would be able to BEND DOWN, flip a VEHICLE-SIZED lizard onto its back and STAB at its belly, all before the big freakin' lizard could crush every bone in its legs and send it tumbling to the ground for an easy kill.

Obviously a grizzly is the baddest predatorial mammal on the planet, I just think at close quarters the whole "bend scoop flip stab" thing would take somewhat longer than it would take for a big-ass crocodile to rush in a straight line and crush a whole lot of bear bones in between steel jaws.

As for speed, that's true of crocodiles over significant distance.  If we're talking about 10-20 meters in a straight line, no turning or shifting axis?  They're actually incredibly damn fast.  Like lightning, man.  If you're ever chased by a crocodile or alligator, you zig-zag and change direction and stuff.  That's because if you don't, you're meat.

According to my research (great, I sound like that Dorothy Ann girl from Magic Schoolbus), bears don't STAB anything, but more of slashes.  And I think intelligence might play a role, too.  Bears might be a bit smarter than crocs, but I have no proof (or morphing ability) to verify.

If not, I would assume you'd have to include a description for those unfamiliar with the morph.

I suppose you could say the same with me . . . though in my writing they aren't technically aliens, just creatures of a different realm, but I've already said too much!  I guess the only real role-playing I do is within there . . . basically a world that my old friends from high school helped me create.

Isn't it a bit of an unfair advantage if you can just make up an alien for your battle morph though?

Like "My battle morph is an alien ten times stronger than Super Rachel." xDDD

Perhaps, yarin, perhaps.  Yours might be more sci-fi and mine might be more fantasy . . . since the protagonist's species in my book is one that I would prefer to be (a Panthera tigris altaica sapien). . . . But I suppose this particuliar thread isn't the place for it . . .

Not if you give it definitive weaknesses.  Or exploitable weaknesses.

True also side note very few mortal creatures are more powerful than super Rachel she had imagine powered morphing.

Yeah, for instance Panthera tigris altaica sapiens (whose common names are Tiger Felavians) have a rather exploitable weakness of, as Hermione puts it, "playing the hero".  Or at least one of the protagonist in my books does.  (though he has wings, tiger-level strength, and control over a mysterious energy called Enigma Energy).

But Super-Rachel would be able to kill'em every time.

But that's enough from me.
