These are all really great songs, I like them a lot! And a lot of them are new to me, which is even better! But I do have one concern, I'm wondering if it's such a good idea to attach them to specific volumes in the series? I have noticed that every song on the lst could be applied to a lot of different situations throughout the books, some even apply across the entire series, and I think everyone would have a different response to the songs. I'm wondering if it would be better to leave the songs unbound, to just put them out as an unorficial "soundtrack" and let the readers decide where they best fit in the animorphs story?

Well, that was just to have a pretty nice order. Of course, it wouldn't mean that you have to listen the songs while reading the book we want it attached to. It's just because some songs go really well with some books, for example end books, and it's better not to listen to them while reading the first book, I think.
Well, if you don't really want an order, if nobody care except me, I won't keep any order...

PS: I haven't listened the last songs, I have a problem with Youtube since yesterday =_='

This song always reminded me of the Yeerks, because when they die, they "stop the world and melt" with the others...XD   And it has a few lines about imaginary grace, saving the human's race, not comprehending the race that had long gone by...yeah, it's a stretch!  LOL.

^Oddly enough, that song is on my playlist for Elfangor/Loren.

Dream of better lives the kind which never hate
Trapped in a state of imaginary grace
I made a pilgrimage to save this human race

I don't know it it's been mentioned, but I like creep by Radiohead for pre-animorphs tobias.
Meh.

This is Esplin's song. The Yeerk, not Alloran--but it doesn't become his song until he's turned Alloran into a Controller.

The chant is parts of this Latin text, which I hid behind a spoiler tag to save space:
Glória in excélsis Deo
et in terra pax homínibus bonae voluntátis.
    Laudámus te,
    benedícimus te,
    adorámus te,
    glorificámus te,
grátias ágimus tibi propter magnam glóriam tuam,
    Dómine Deus, Rex cæléstis,
    Deus Pater omnípotens.
    Dómine Fili Unigénite, Iesu Christe,
Dómine Deus, Agnus Dei, Fílius Patris,
    qui tollis peccáta mundi, miserére nobis;
qui tollis peccáta mundi, súscipe deprecatiónem nostram.
Qui sedes ad déxteram Patris, miserére nobis.
Quóniam tu solus Sanctus, tu solus Dóminus, tu solus Altíssimus,
Iesu Christe, cum Sancto Spíritu: in glória Dei Patris. Amen.

Translation:

Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to people of good will.
    We praise you,
    we bless you,
    we adore you,
    we glorify you,
we give you thanks for your great glory,
    Lord God, heavenly King,
    O God, almighty Father.
    Lord Jesus Christ, Only-begotten Son,
Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father,
    you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us;
you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer.
you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.
For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High,
Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
Give me release
Witness me
I am outside
Give me peace

Heaven holds a sense of wonder
And I wanted to believe
That I'd get caught up
When the rage in me subsides

Passion chokes the flower
'Til she cries no more
Possessing all the beauty
Hungry still for more

Heaven holds a sense of wonder
And I wanted to believe
That I'd get caught up
When the rage in me subsides

In this white wave
I am sinking
In this silence
In this white wave
In this silence
I believe

I can't help this longing
Comfort me
I can't hold it all in
If you won't let me

Heaven holds a sense of wonder
And I wanted to believe
That I'd get caught up
When the rage in me subsides

In this white wave
I am sinking
In this silence
In this white wave
In this silence
I believe

I have seen you
In this white wave
You are silent
You are breathing
In this white wave
I am free

I dunno how to add videos to this, but here are my songs. They're all from Muse's "The Resistance" which, on its own is very Animorphs.

EDIT: Added links to videos!

Uprising - sorta for the whole series in general, battle scenes especially.

Another promise, another seed
Another, packaged lie to keep us trapped in greed
And all the, green belts wrapped around our minds
And endless, red tape to keep the truth confined
(So come on)

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
So come on

Interchanging mind control
Come let the, revolution takes its toll
If you could, flick the switch and open your third eye
You'd see that, we should never be afraid to die
(So come on)

Resistance - This one really reminds me of Cassie/Jake, more in the middle of the series. Also Tobias/Rachel, and generally them all having to keep hidden and secret.

Is our secret safe tonight
And are we out of sight
Or will our world come tumbling down?
Will they find our hiding place
Is this our last embrace
Or will the walls start caving in?

Kill your prayers for love and peace
You'll wake the thought police
We can't hide the truth inside

Undisclosed Desires - Sexy Tobias/Rachel! Yep.

I want to reconcile the violence in your heart
I want to recognise your beauty's not just a mask
I want to exorcise the demons from your past
I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart

You trick your lovers
That you're wicked and divine
You may be a sinner
But your innocence is mine

^You can link to youtube, or put the code inside of board code like this (youtube)http://blahblahblahyoutubevidurl.com(/youtube).

Just substitute the parenthesis for brackets.

Cool song!

Bravo guys on finding such amazing songs. I really could not get enough of most of these :).

This...makes me imagine Gafinilan's passing. If you listen, you can just hear the point where he slips out of pain and into eternity, and then it goes back to Mertil just sitting there next to his friend's body, wishing him a fond farewell.

Note: The "words" are not a real language. You could almost imagine it as an Andalite song, if Andalites sing in any form.

I like this one for certain events in #54:

Flipped into the wind like the ashes of her cigarette
He got scattered and thrown on the breeze as he tried to forget
Lost all his heat and his heart never will be the same
He got lighter than air, but he'll only come down in the rain

Strung out, hung out to dry, laughing under the night
It's not such a dignified place, but he really don't mind
He says with his feet on the ground he'd have nothing to gain
Claims he likes it up there, and he'll only come down in the rain

Comin' down in the rain, washing out of the sky
Floating down with the pain, that just ain't no way to fly
And you can read it as clear as the wall where he once wrote his name
It was right next to hers but it'll only come down in the rain

Putting himself out on a limb like a leaf in the forest
He blazed for a while, now he's feeling all dried-up and small
The color's all gone, disappeared near as quick as it came
He says he can't stay up, but he'll only come down in the rain

Comin' down in the rain, washing out of the sky
Floating down with the pain, that just ain't no way to fly
And you can read it as clear as the wall where he once wrote his name
It was right next to hers but it'll only come down in the rain

And you can read it as clear as the wall where he once wrote his name
It was right next to hers but it'll only come down in the rain
