[Gaz]

"Got it," Gaz said.

She pressed necessary buttons on her console and waited.

"Hope Morgan doesn't get too bored," Gaz said.

"That old pirate?" Fletcher replied. "Nah, I'm sure he'll enjoy the quiet for a bit."

Fletcher and Gaz were quiet for a bit.

"Ever think about heading back to our reality?" Fletcher asked.

Gaz glanced at him. "Where's this coming from?"

"Just listening to them talk about possibly ending up in a different reality if we're not careful," Fletcher replied. "Been away from ours for a while."

"Don't know," Gaz replied. "For the moment, pickings are good out here. Maybe when we got some more cargo to sell back home."

"Maybe we can pick up some vintage stuff," Fletcher said. "People love vintage stuff."

Thordon walks up behind Gaz as she talks to Fletcher, "So, this transport is nice. You wouldn't have an open seat where I would be out of the way, would you?"

[Gaz]

"Thanks," Gaz replied. She was proud of her ship. "You can pick a seat anywhere ya like. Fletcher's in my way all the time, it's ok."

Fletcher looked like he wanted to say something, but changed his mind.

Instead he turned to Thordon and said, "Hi. See what I put up with on a regular basis?"

[Myitt]

"That's an excellent, headache-inducing question Breekan, suffice it to say that I've done it before--albeit rarely.  Somehow we each end up back where we're supposed to be, as long as we return to the bar, which always seems to be right where it should be.  I think if people do stay too long in one particular universe outside of their own, the fabric of space-time and conservation of mass and entropy and all that would screw up and we'd all implode."  Myitt smiles brightly, looking out at the star dotted expanse of space.  "Let's hope all of those theories are wrong, okay?  Hang on guys, and make sure you're buckled up."  The z-space engines start revving up as they prepare for the jump.

[Darth Revan]

Thordon took a seat that Fletcher cleared for him, "Thank you." He then has a slightly confused look on his face, "Are you not in her way often?"

Ardiss settles into a seat, looking torn between grumpy and relieved with her current situation. She contented herself with talking to Christine rather than talking to anyone on the ship.

<You better not cause me any trouble on Earth. I can't afford to be on the Empire's radar.>

(Yes she's on Temrash's ship coming to Earth.)

[Gaz]

"She's my cousin," Fletcher said in explanation, "she's just giving me a hard time."

"You want a hard time?" Gaz asked. "How about trying to steal my ship?"

"Are you ever going to let that go?" Fletcher replied.

"Eventually," Gaz said.

"Like when you die?" Fletcher asked.

"It's a possibility," Gaz said. Then before he could respond she said, "Check the engine console there, we're about to jump."

"Everything's fine," Fletcher said after checking the console. "Want me to check the engine room?"

"I think that's ok for the moment," Gaz said. "So, Thordon, excited about this little trip?"

[Breekan1]

"Oh yeah, I know how it tends to go eventually," Breekan grins. "Trouble is, on this outing... Well, let me put it this way: When you two left-" he nods, indicating the newcomer from WWII and Tara, "-earth presumably didn't have any defenses put in place to protect it from randomly appearing alien spaceships." He scratches his chin, weirdly entranced with the possibility of trouble. "Do we know that's a time that we're going to be visiting? Are we heading to Tara's time? To Yours? Hell-" Breekan sweeps a hand over his sleeve, revealing a complex and alien calendar. "Maybe I'm from several thousand years in your future, and we'll end up in my timeline. God knows I've never heard of most of the intergalactic politics you all discuss. Maybe I'm not just uneducated- maybe it's all obsolete by my time."

[Darth Revan]

"Indeed, Meeting other spieces is always exciting. I'm especially interested in the similarities of the planet to my own. The only down-side is that I won't be here 'officially'. Nor can I since I don't know if continual travel between our planets is possible.

"Do you frequent this universe much? Where do you come from?"

[Gaz]

"We haven't been in this universe for very long," Gaz replied. "Where we come, space pirates like us are more common than you might think. It's the only way scoundrels like us can make any sort of living."

"You like it," Fletcher said.

"Yeah, well you can't think it's so bad either," retorted Gaz. "I mean, I got my own ship and I'm doing well. Eventually I'll get me a good crew."

"In the universe we're going to," Fletcher said, "there's a television show called...Firefly, I think. Loosely based on where we come from. Except, not as cowboy-ish and no Chinese."

[Darth Revan]

Thordon accepted the terms "Cowboy" and "Chinese" as Earth terms. "Ah, it sounds interesting. So do you come from an 'Earth' as well?"
