Tobias blinks softly and turned back to face Jake.<Yeah..I guess your right.>closes his wings against him and staying on the window sill.

(( Gah, sorry Myth, I didn't have much time on my break and forgot about your post. ))

Shawn blushed a little, though it might not have been noticible in the lowly lit basement. "Yeah, the pure emotion of those dogs just took over me. Being a wolf is completely different from being a dog. Dogs are just so care-free and loving and exploritory. These past few weeks have been pretty harsh. The team almost losing hope about finding Tobias, mid-terms starting up pretty soon, and the dynamics at home aren't really helping either. I really needed to lose myself, you know?"


Jake finally looked around at everyone else and saw a few odd looks. He dropped his arm from behind Cassie and cleared his throat. "Okay, with the Yeerks gone, I think it's safe to return Cassie's dad's truck. Elayne, would you be able to drive us back?"

Cassie bit her lip at Jake's rather brusque words to Tobias, but she knew they had to be said. And while sometimes she felt like it was her job to prevent feelings from being hurt unnecessarily, Jake had been relatively gentle and Tobias had appeared to take it well. She looked to Jake for a moment, then turned her attention on Elayne.

"I'd be happy to, Jake," she nodded in agreement.

"How about I drive and she cloaks it?" Marco winked, trying to break up the tension.

Tobias chuckles softly at Marco's joke.<You'd do better flying as a bird..and even then you'd STILL run straight into all the trees.>he says not wanting the group to worry about him as much as they did.

Laughing at Tobias's remark, Jake answered, "Very funny, but I think Elayne's perfectly capable of multi-tasking. I thought it would be a good idea for Elayne to adapt a scene of Cassie's father driving us. Then when we're inside she could resume her previous image."

Tobias nods softly and gently spread his wings stretched some.<And you want bird-boy to fly coverage right?>he says with a smile in his eyes abit.

She nodded her head. "Yeah, it's the same way with the larger cats compared to the smaller ones. The tiger let's me roam and think, while I'm pretty sure the everyday housecat would most likely want to play." she told him. she did understand what it was like when you needed a time or two to just let go.

"I can do that," Elayne nodded in agreement. "If everyone is ready, follow me, please. And remain inside the hologram; I'm projecting images of you with your normal clothes on--it's probably safest that way if you suddenly need to morph, anyway." She opened the door and led the way out of the house for any who cared to follow, knowing Jake still had to give Tobias directions.

Marco followed after Elayne. "Shotgun!" he called and jumped into the front passenger's seat with a grin.

Cassie hung behind, waiting for Jake.

Jake followed Cassie to the truck, "Is this a king cab, or a super cab? I love super cabs, so much more leg room."

Shawn nodded and heard Marco yell, "Shotgun!" He whipped around, "Are they leaving? What the hell? What no notice? Geez." He yelled, "Wait! up!"

He ran out of the front door and stopped in the middle of the front yard as everyone made it to the truck. Somehow they all had regular clothes on, and Cassie's father was with them, "Where are you guys going? Were you just going to leave us? Why does Elayne look like Cassie's dad? What the hell is going on?"

Tobias turns and jumps out of the window and flies up into the sky,sighing happly as it was an amazeing feeling to get back into the sky and streach his wings.<Focus Tobias.>he tells himself and cuts a sharp turn and goes back to fly in a slow circle above the truck,keeping an eye out on anyone following them.

Raksha followed Shawn as he raced back to find the others leaving and Elayne looked like cassie's dad. "We leave for a few minutes and everyone is haywire." she joked.

Elayne turned back as she heard Shawn calling to them and immediately included them in the hologram as well.

"Will you shut up?" Marco growled at them--revealed to be wearing his morphing suit still. "It's a hologram the Chee created."

"There's still room in the bed, you two," Cassie called to them as she sat in the truck. "King," she responded to Jake with a laugh. "Dad just needs this old beat up thing for hauling; it's not built for comfort."
