I agree, Spartan... The Attack was one of my all-time favorites... Too bad it's the only one I don't have...  :'(

I never thought of it being a Megamorphs! That's an awesome idea! (who wouldn't have loved to see Ax's take on Howler physiology, or Marco's take on the J/C "moment"?)

Also, to couple two previously mentioned ideas, Erek could have had a couple interesting chapters in that book as well... (note how I used "couple" in two completely different, yet grammatically correct ways!)

Yeah, I thought it was bull that Jake and Cassie kiss in #26, but they go back to being platonic afterwards.

Ummm... YEAH!
What the heck is WRONG with those two???

There's a perspective that we don't get a lot of even when Jake or Cassie are narrating - their relationship... it's like a big no-no to talk about for them for almost the entire series...

(I guess that makes sense, though, given that they are young teenagers, and as I can personally attest to, relationships at that age are already incredibly over-complicated by numerous factors... Throw in an alien invasion, gory battles, and bizarre capabilities, and you have one sewiouswy messed up mix)

I thought it was weird too, that the J/C relationship was so low key. Then KA comes in and says in her last letter that relationships that start during the war fall apart during peace time. If you want to talk about a relationship that really gets started, and becomes strong, during the war then you should look at R/T. And I don't think their relationship would have fallen apart after the war ended.

Wheras J/C stayed about the same as it was before the war started, and never developed much at all. They get a kissing scene in 26, and maybe some offhand mention of other stuff later.

What KA says about relationships in her last letter doesn't fit what we see, as far as I can tell.

Yeah, I think she just didn't want Animorphs to turn into her Makeout series. ;D

Good point... And neither did we... (for the most part)

Still... I think book #44 from Jake's perspective (or even better, Marco's!) would have been enlightening AND hilarious! :)

I just thought of a really good one.

Visser One's perspective during book 30 would be amazing to see, IMHO.

I would've loved to see David's perspective on all 3 books of the David Trilogy.

And visser 3's perspective might've been interesting in book 23.

I'd have loved to hear from Crayak in the Ellimist Chronicles
My main complaint about The Ellimist Chronicles. I thought we'd know more about Crayak but he's still mysterious as ever.

That's another thing I would have really liked to see.

Yeah, I think #26 would have been a good MegaMorphs, also.

I would have liked to see Visser Three's perspective during Visser.

I would have liked to see Visser Three's perspective during Visser.

Yeah, I had hoped it would be like V1 for one half and V3 for the next.

I think it was supposed to have more of V3 in Visser, but they decided the V3 sections weren't good enough. Hence why V3 is on the cover, and no Human woman at all.

Either that or when you think of Visser, you automatically think Visser 3.

nah, chad's right. it was stated very clearly in the anibase that originally it was gonna be about both visser 3 and 1, but ka found visser 1's story to be more interesting, and made the whole thing about her...

Yeah, but was the cover art approved before the story was made?

I don't know, but I think the covers of books sometimes get done by different people than those that write the books.
