Here's my question for everyone, and this contains spoilers, just in case you missed that.
Anyway is it just me or does it seem awfully coincidental that Arbron and the others all got seperated so early into their mission on the Taxxon world? Now if they hadn't been there is a chance that everything could have gone swimmingly, that they'd get the time matrix and be off but would the Ellimist want that? If they had gotten the time matrix they would have given it to the Andalites, so things had to go wrong, but just how wrong was Arbron getting trapped as a Taxxon? If the Ellimist didn't want it that way he could have returned Arbron just like he did Chapman, but the fact that he didnt and the events in the end of the series suggest to me that the Ellimist might have had a hand in Arbron getting trapped in the first place.
He couldn't find Elfangor but why didn't he find Alloran? Why didn't Alloran find him? Why didn't the Taxxons that found their crashed ship just eat him
and the skrit, why, if they never cease to be hungry, did they settle for just the skrit and the cocoons when injured Arbron was right there and Elfangor was defenseless? In the end Arbron getting trapped worked in the advantage of the overall scheme of things, he became a heroic general for the living hive, aiding in Elfangor's escape from the space port, and later helped the Animorphs on Earth, but the whole thing, everything from the living hive to his arrival and activities on Earth reek of the Ellimist to me.
But, when the Ellimist used Tobias to free the Hork-Bajir he gave him a reward, freedom from his nothlit state. Why then was Arbron left to die in some forest? Tobias was given the morphing power again before he even freed the Hork-Bajir, and given a human morph once he succeeded, Arbron got . . . what, exactly? Death after literally years of suffering for the cause? Was he discarded by the Ellimist without any reward, or was he just a being of amazing mixed luck and coincidence? Was Tobias only rewarded because he would have refused to help otherwise?
What are your thoughts? And sorry if this has been tackled before
