Well, I 've gotten the message around here that I'm not appreciated, liked, welcomed, what have ya; that's why I'm annoucing my departure from RAF. It was interesting that despite after how much I tried to be friendly and contributive in the regualar threads, my karma never got above four, while newer guys got far ahead of me. It was in the debate threads where I learned trying to speak the unpopular truth can get you smitten down to 0, the only person I've seen with that rank. Also in said debates, I became exasperated at the amazing ability of a few to be shortsighted, closeminded and illogical. I also learned a few things about forum communities that have ...given me some pause about life.
Oh well, the point is-I'm not going to be that guy at the party that nobody likes and is oblivious to it so he never leaves. I wish you all the best of God's blessings, and thank you for your frindship.

I stay away from threads like religion, politics etc because I know it can be pretty heated as people can be really passionate about it. I don't know what's happened, but don't let it get to you.

You say what you want because that's how you feel, people have to get over that. They have their say, you have yours.

I will certainly notice if you're gone, because when I've seen you around the forum you've been nothing but a friendly guy.

You've done the right thing by telling us all how you feel, and now that's off your chest you and others may have a different attitude around here.

Just stick around for a while and see how it goes John..don't act on how you're feeling at this very moment :)

actually though, these are debates, just because we dont agree with some of your views on politics or religion or w/e doesn't mean we dont want you around
