i'd probably go live with the andalites.
definitely not the yeerk/taxxon homeworld, possibly the hork-bajir.

I'd chose the Andalite homeworld.

1. It'd be awesome if they gave the humans living there, the morphing powers

2. Seems like the safest place from the Yeerks

3. Since the Andalites love earth food so much, negotiating with them wouldn't be too hard

 Yeerk Homeworld. Definitely.

Any reason why?

It rains acid daily. >= And huge tentacles spring up from the ground at unpredictable times... And there're creatures with wheels, for inexplicable reasons.
I dunno. I think the Yeerk Homeworld would only be fun if you happened to be a Yeerk, and even then, I'd rather be somewhere else. x3

I believe it was in HBC. Gimme one second to grab a quote. ^^()
*hold music plays*

Quote from: Hork-Bajir Chronicles
I could not watch anymore. I ran outside, unnoticed by the adults. I ran outside into the Yeerk
twilight. The wild green and yellow-streaked sky was turning dark.

The harsh air rasped in my throat. Soon the nightly rain, the acid rain, would fall and I would
have to retreat back into the shelter.

I don't think it says why. Just a random fact to add character to the planet, I suppose.

Does it need a reason why?

Natural adaptations. We couldn't live there without som major changes, but they've evolved to the conditions.

It's kind of a cliche that evil creatures inhabit dark, dismal, and dangerous places/worlds. While the good guys live in places/worlds that are a lot like ours.
