Hey guys, I just found out that two years ago in 2007, UC Berkeley had an entire class dedicated to analyzing Animorphs!
http://www.decal.org/178Does anybody know anybody who took that class? That sounds so cool! Too bad they don't have something like BookWorlds at my University. They have all kinds of cool pop culture studies, like Firefly, etc.
Here's a quote from the sylabus:
"The Rules
We will not have any disruptions in class; hence, discipline is essential. These rules are harsh but way better than anything under Yeerk rule, so be thankful and live by them! They will be enforced!"
"If you have nothing to contribute to the class, you’re about as useful as a person stuck halfway in flea morph."
That's so cool (even though one missed class equals an essay requirement, and four means failure- ouch!) The professors must have truly been Anifans. Can you imagine how nice it would be to discuss the books in detail in a classroom and get credit for doing so? Not to mention, there would be no awkward embarrassment, because everybody in the class would be a fan as well.
