Orenthal James "O. J." "The Juice" Simpson: American Football player
in 1994, he was accused, then acquitted, of murdering his wife and her friend
in 2007, he broke into a hotel room in Las Vegas to recover some stolen property. Too bad that's illegal without a warrant (and all police departments will insist on executing the warrant themselves). He was convicted of
burglary (breaking into a residence),
assault (threatening violent harm) with a deadly weapon,
kidnapping (holding a person hostage by violence or threat of violence),
and criminal conspiracy (planning and beginning to carry out a crime involving multiple people).
He is now serving a thirty-three year prison term.
