"I'm fine," Issid murmured, only just adding a belated, "thanks" as she turned away. She hurried in the direction of where the other Elayne had landed, but then she stopped short as she saw that the gravel yard was empty, as if the craft had entirely vanished.

<Where...?> Issid wondered, then growled a curse in her and Elayne's simultaneous moment of realization. Before suddenly being jolted across space to the Bar, they and their ship had been on Earth. Having not traveled here by typical means, and so their ship was, in all likelihood, still light years away.

Ossanlin stops his work for a moment and turns to Claxter.  <I want to rescue Tamara, Terenia, and Efaen Claxter...but someting else has come up.  Sukohn...the Imperial with the unbalanced human host...managed to strike some sort of deal with Kesshin, Kesshin got Elayne to release the identities of the resistance fighters on Earth to him...he then passed the information on to Sukohn.  Sukohn just jumped to Z-Space a few moments ago with that information on hand.>  Ossanlin shakes his head a moment.  <Even if this doesn't compromise the very integrity of space-time, and I'm not sure that it doesn't, it will deal us and the humans a very severe blow, and will give the Empire an upper hand.  We have to stop him before he can destroy the Earth resistance.>

Ossanlin continues to guide the computer through the pre-launch procedures.  <We've already talked with Myitt's human friend and her contact on the Visser's ship however...that plan has already been set in motion...we must bring Terenia along, or rather she must fly her ship back, or have access to fly her ship back to Earth.>

<Keshin.> Claxter said with distaste. <First he shot your friend Corliss as soon as she got the chance, and now she has helped an Imperial. Perhaps Zoshonel should have made good on his effort to force her to leave the bar. He forgave her because Corliss was willing to make good on his deal, though. I don't believe we can trust Terenia without keeping an eye on her, but she hates when we do. I suppose we must hurry either way.>

((Nah, nobody's left Patty. Mar's screwing around outside trying to locate the others, Ossanlin is trying to get out of here so he can pursue Sukohn, Myitt's talking with Terenia who's outside, and Keshin is actually onboard Myitt's broken ship being himself. Sorry for the delay on the posts guys! Sleepovers are fun! ; )  And once again…tell me what I might find.  ;)  ))

Keshin shrugs and walks towards the back of the cabin, throwing his hands up in the air. <We might as well start looking through this place for something useful, then. After that, we'll screw around with what's recorded in the navigational computer and see if we can figure out where the rebel base is. Then we need to get out of here before the others start wondering where we are.>

<We've really been treadin' on thin ice, here. An' we need to keep track of that broad outside.>

<This shouldn't take more than twenty minutes. She can't be leaving that fast.>

Keshin then opens the first door, which reveals...supplies. Boxes of semi-neatly labeled things that people use on long trips. Keshin groans, rifling through one of the boxes but quickly realizing there's nothing but food and pool rations that's worth stealing. And he doesn't have big enough pockets for the kind of thing he'd want to steal. <....huh. There's a few boxes of Wheaties in here. Wonder when Myitt had time to pick this up. ...was it back when half the Bar left on that trip?>

Keshin shrugs and leaves the room quietly, closing the door the way he’d left it. Keshin then opens the second room and gets a grin on his face as soon as he sees the memory dump and computer terminal. <Now that is more like it.>

<Way to go, Kess!>

Keshin  frowns as soon as he realizes that the memory dump terminal looks fried. <There goes that idea. Maybe we can check the computer in here for
info.>

To that end, Keshin flicks on the monitor and begins to look through whatever’s in front of him…

Mar then nods calmly, thinking over Ossanlin’s response. <I…know what you mean. There seems to be something terribly wrong with the timestream around her and in this area in general. I wish you luck in your endeavor,  Ossanlin. If you need my assistance with cleanup when you return, you need only ask. …but I’m telling you. I get the feeling that you somehow picked up another person on the way…>

As soon as he reaches the shipyard area, Mar’s eyes widen. Elayne is standing there, and she still seems to be alive and well. Although Ossanlin is definitely right; Elayne is almost painful to look at.  He cannot get a clear grasp of what’s in front of him, but he presses on anyway towards Myitt and Elayne. Mar bows, looking flustered.

“E…Elayne. You have returned, milady. Are you…well? Something is…off,” states Mar, rubbing his forehead as he speaks.

Issid cringed when she hear Mar's voice but  turned to face him anyway. She frowned; she was not expecting him to be so flustered, and her guard immediately went up even higher. "Of course everything is fine. I mean, except that Sukhon got away."

<Smooth,> Elayne smirked. <He'll see right through you.>

Mar rubs his forehead harder, as if that's going to help the incredible nausea he's feeling. Mar backs away from Elayne slightly, which is a better position but hardly ideal. He then stares at her carefully and states, "Elayne, I think that...something is terribly wrong. Something about that man Sukohn getting away has messed with the time field around your body. I will...attempt to rectify it for you, but..."

Mar then frowns, peering around Elayne and around himself. The sensation's still clearly present. "...dearest Elayne, do you see anyone else here? I think that this rupture in reality you've created is messing with my head. It needs to be fixed immediately."

Alic felt refreshed after being able to finally sleep. She ran up the ramp that lead onto Ossanlin's ship and stopped at the door. "You.. Weren't trying to leave... Without me, were you?" She managed to say between breaths.
Alic took a deep breath. "Are we going anywhere anyway?"

<Hello Alinciana. We are leaving to keep an Imperial named Sukohn from capturing the main resistance on Earth, thus securing it for the Empire. We also have a secondary mission that has already begun, so we're on a time limit to catch Sukohn.> Claxter said. he had practically forgotten about Alic after so long not interacting with her. He didn't want her to think he had forgotten her, as he thought she already thought poorly of him.

<You are welcome to come along. I have never been to Earth, but I believe morphing Human might be interesting.>

Terenia watches Elayne's reactions and thinks that they seem a bit odd, but she shrugs it off. Their interactions before had been extremely brief and besides, who was she to judge what constituted odd behavior? She glances over at Ossanlin's ship, which seems to be powering up.

"You don't suppose they'll forget about me and head off alone, eh?" she asks to no one in particular.

"No, I don't think they will," says Myitt distractedly, watching Mar and Elayne talk, some distance away.  "Come on, let's head to the Mirage.  If Ossanlin needs to, he can send you to rendezvous with Zorish while he handles the situation with Sukohn."

She starts walking toward Ossanlin's ship, then pauses.  "Aw, ****, I forgot the stupid little faux morphing cube in the Skimmer.  Hang on, I'll meet you at the Mirage, okay?"

Myitt darts off in the direction of Corliss' ship, accessing the main hatch and climbing up the ramp.

Terenia watches Myitt dart off, then looks back towards Elayne and Mar, who seem to be locked in the midst of their own awkward conversation, then looks to the Mirage some distance away.

<Dammit, where is that bounty hunter when we need her?> Terenia grumbles. Luckily for her, it seems as though no one is paying attention to her. She turns abruptly and walks away, heading back for the now empty bar. She walks quickly, but refrains from running as she does not want to attract unnecessary attention. When she reaches the bar she flings the door open, walks past the disgruntled bartender, and straight into one of the back rooms. She closes and locks the door behind her, looking around.

<So you are just going to hide from them?> Efaen asks.

<Out of sight, out of mind,> Terenia replies, <Myitt made it seem as though time is of the essence here. They cannot waste time looking for me if the entire space-time continuum is at risk. I just have to wait it out until they are forced to leave without me. Then I'll go from there.>

(I honestly thought Terenia would want to save Earth enough to go with them if Sukohn escaped. Though I supposed I'm not too surprised. She's totally self serving, except when it comes to her sister.)

((It's more that she doesn't think that far ahead. If she truly understood the implications of what Sukohn did then she probably would be on board....but she won't make that connection until she has a chance to stop playing hide-and-seek. Then she'll have an 'oh ****....' moment))
