((I agree Tara, everyone here is a good example I think. Parker is probably the most obvious example since most SPARTANs look the same unless they choose to paint symbols or whatnot on their armor, yet his SPARTAN is original with his own story and background, he is certainly not Master Chief. And none of us are characters from the books that I know of. We all have rich, dramatic background stories and our own personalities. You're not the lone gunman, you're just the bannerwoman. :p ))
Ossanlin watches Alic go and considers following after her and Claxter, after all he felt responsibility for them both. He WAS responsible for Claxter's actions now. He thought the young warrior wouldn't do anything to harm Terenia...he seemed to be sympathizing with her. Perhaps this would all sort itself out. If Efaen decided to become voluntary....but that was highly unlikely and he would not ask her to allow Terenia back into her head. Ossanlin rubs both temples and takes a deep breath, calming his mind and letting his hands drop to his sides. To anyone, he would appear to be in a trance. His fur ripples irridescent for a moment as he reaches out with his mind to find calm in the void between time. After a few minutes in trance he returns to the here and now. He feels infinitely better, peace of mind is a truly wonderful thing.
He signals the BT to bring him a fermented grass drink and sets it on the floor, inserting a hoof and drinking slowly as he waits for the entourage to return to the bar. He swivels a stalk-eye toward Keshin, recalling the conversation that had occurred while his mind had been entranced. <I suppose we both look at it from a different angle, biased by our species. I see Efaen, a slave under absolute control by a hostile party...Terenia. You see Terenia, a slave or as good as without a host and you see Efaen as a solution for Terenia's slavery, despite Efaen's subjugation. The fact is, Terenia needs a voluntary host, that is the only solution. We will have much more information once we can speak to Efaen without Terenia. We need to speak to her before leaping to any conclusions.> Ossanlin's thought-speach is calm and possessed, as it is most times. The serenity in his mind helped him maintain that unbiased tone despite the passion he felt regarding involuntary infestation.
