Terenia nods somewhat stiffly and the hatch of her Bug Fighter opens on command. She enters slowly, stalk eyes watching the few that remain outside in case they decide to ambush her.
<You can't tell Visser Three where you are,> Efaen said, <He'll come get you and everyone here will die.>
<He can find out where I am regardless,> Terenia said calmly, <I'm just buying us time to figure something out.>
<You mean buying yourself time. I have time. You're the one who has a day before she withers into dust.>
<There's that,> Terenia acknowledges, starting the computers up, but being careful to leave the engines powered down. She keyed in the command for the computer to begin recording a message.
<Recipient: Visser Three. I am on a planetoid in an unknown region of space. I stopped off to refuel and have not returned on my flight path yet,> Terenia hesitates, unsure of how to make her message coherent, <I cannot give you my coordinates, it appears that I am in a warped area of space-time. I do not know how easy it will be to return here, so I am remaining on-planet to investigate.> She pauses, then hastily adds, <I believe it will be in the best interest of the Empire.>
Satisfied, she sends the message out and powers down the computer. She won't receive a response for hours, at least.
<You didn't tell him who you are with?> Efaen asks wonderingly, <Various Yeerk rebels, a renowned War Prince and species that the Yeerks have yet to attempt infesting? Alloran's daughter?>
<Nope,> Terenia said.
<Why not?>
<I told you,> Terenia says, checking to make sure everything is off. <These people may be inconveniencing me, but that doesn't mean I want them blown to smithereens. Ossanlin, maybe. Perhaps Claxter too, the young fool. But I find Corliss rather interesting. Aliciana and the bounty hunter as well.>
<You may be killed.>
<Yeah, well. Curiousity killed the cat.>
<The what?>
<Nevermind.>
