<Earth is...much richer than anything I have found amongst the Andalites,> Terenia says, <but it is not always enjoyable. I have seen more death since leaving Earth than most humans see in ten lifetimes, and still some of the most despicable acts I know of were done by humans to other humans. Humanity is both a gift and a curse, I suppose.>
Terenia pauses, gathering herself. It has been a very, very long time since she has spoken about her time as a human. More often than not she tends to avoid it, trying to repel a combination of homesickness and repulsion for the life she left.
<You do seem rather...human...fo r an Andalite,> Terenia notes, <it is refreshing. Most humans I meet these days are not human at all, but mere vessels of Yeerks. >
