Thordon sees two humans enter the bar. One's clothes were stained in, what appeared, his own blood; he sits down and begins talking to Gaz. Thordon nudges Myitt and nods toward the human that brought the bottle in, "Is that the American Soldier? He seems more afraid of this place than curious."

"Yeah, I think he's a wierd case. He seems to have come from a part of Earth, where Humans lived, and teleported straight to here. He's just figuring out offworlders like Yeerks and such exist."

Morgan glanced over at Cutter. Morgan was indeed a minotaur. He was tall and dark colored with streaks of silver in his "beard".

"I see the kid decided to come in," Morgan said in his deep voice.

Gaz thought for a moment. "I actually don't know quite what it is."

"You don't know?!" Fletcher replied.

"Well, it's not deadly," Gaz said. "I've had plenty of it."

"How do you not know?" Fletcher continued.

Gaz sighed. "I didn't exactly think that the crew of the ship would appreciate me asking."

"You could have asked nicely," Fletcher said.

"I'll let you try that next time," Gaz retorted. "Let me know how it works when you escape from their brig."

Then Gaz turned to Cutter. "Handling things all right?"

"I don't think it's just a part of Earth," Mar states, glancing him over. "I think it's more of a...when than a where. I recognize parts of his uniform, oddly enough."

Mar suddenly stands up and walks toward the new arrival, holding out his right hand rather than his usual left. "Hello, sir. I am called Mar, for what it's worth. Please excuse my voice. I've spent a great deal of time in Germany on various occasions. I would like to welcome you to the Space Bar...although you seem quite baffled by your current situation."

((For those of you who don't know this (and that's probably everybody except Myitt), Mar actually has a peculiar German-sounding accent. You can picture him with whatever voice you'd like, though. x3 There is a pretty good reason for the accent other than the fact that I think it's funny as hell. XD ))

((Yeah, that is a detail that makes a large difference. ;D ))

Thordon thought about approaching the bloodied human, but decided one strange being at a time for him would be best, and Mar already started the line. He remains content with taking small drinks of his beverage.

((Before anyone asks, although this particular facet of Mar was in Germany on various occasions...he wasn't anyone you'd know. He appeared as a disembodied voice or feeling of sorts in Cutter's actual time (though possibly not his particular universe) and also appeared much earlier at some point in the Holy Roman Empire as one of the hundreds of Princes there were. So yes he does like the accent quite a bit. ; ) But since I picture him as inexplicably British half the time, it doesn't really matter except in this case. ))

(I didn't know if Temrash heard that he was from the past.)

"So he spontaneously time traveled here? Yeah, that's believable. On the other hand, I did hear a rumor once about a time machine on the Taxxon Homeworld. It was just a rumor, though, and no one knows where the thing is now."

Thordon almost coughs up his drink, "Time travel? This is an odd place, isn't it?" Thordon looks around the structure of the bar, "It looks so plain though." He steals a look at the BT, "He's just creepy."

Mar grins at Temrash. "Ah, I believe that you misunderstand Time then. For all you know, I could have come here from 1895 and Thordon could be from 1547, regardless of his physical location. I think that this place is like that, although due to its existence in your universe most inhabitants are from the same location in Time and from here. And Thordon...don't mess with the bartender here. He's killed someone before."

Mar shrugs his shoulders and glances with more interest at the strange young man from the past. I have been when he is, haven't I? At least, I certainly think I have...though not so physically and possibly not in exactly the same universe as his own. What an interesting man. I shall have to ask him what he thinks of being exposed to life beyond his own small planet, what with his normal view on reality. He might have read science fiction, after all.

Thordon responds, "Well, I don't have to worry about that. As an ascended being, I am no longer mortal. The only thing that could kill me is another wraith. And I doubt "the bar" is one."

Breek glances at Temrash and sips his drink. "I've heard of that one, though I was always told it was something the blue man-" he tilts his head at Ossanlin "his boss- made up to make himself sound impressive." He shrugs. "But my education wasn't exactly unbiased."

((Corliss is still outside working on the Skimmer, so I'll say Thordon said that to Myitt instead xD))

"Yeah, poor kid." Myitt replies.  "I think he's got a right to be shell-shocked.  I wonder just where he's from, though, or when, and how he got here."

She listens idly to the conversation, biting her lip when Mar mentions he's German.  She scoots a bit down the bar counter so she can listen better.

"Only time machines I've ever heard of are ones humans made up," Myitt muses.  "Like the H.G. Wells book, and that DeLorean."  She pauses, curious.  "I'm suddenly very curious what year all of us are from, at least with relation to Earth reckoning.  Corliss and I are situated in good old 2003.  Bloody Red Sox still haven't won the World Series."

"Haven't been to Earth in a while, huh?  Or have you ever been there?  It's a nice place," says Myitt.

Thordon shakes his head slightly at Breekan, "No, no, this time it's true. I am a being consisting solely of one element. This body is more of an avatar than anything. I don't know what I look like in my wraith form, as noone's told me; and that's because I've never shown anyone what I look like as a wraith. My people know me in this form, so I retained it so as to not ostracize them."

Thordon looks quizzically at Myitt, "'Red Socks?'"

((Sorry, I forgot he buggered off. fixed. :) ))
