<I guess he has his own personal safety, and the safety of his people and cause, to worry about. I guess maybe he's also worried about me.> Christine said.

"There's just the one thing that bothers me. If this is the kind of place that's hard to really get away from, I'm not totally sure we can get to Earth. Though Myitt was able to get to the rebels well enough. Gaz and fletcher also left. I guess all we can do is try."

(So is Kara with Myitt, or did she stay with raven? I forget. And where is Gaz? I've been thinking up a good character for the captain of the escort she's fighting. It's an ant-like creature that stands shorter than a Human, but has four arms and is quite strong. Also has practically 180 degree vision. I figure she'll lose the battle, but comes to the Bar looking for Gaz. who I assume will also come back to the bar.)

As Parker was about to return to the Engineer, Thor buzzed in, <Sir, we have something BIG on our motion detectors.>

Parker whips around, looking around cautiously. The blotch showing on his Motion Detector on his HUD moves directly in front of him. He looks up and notices a slight shimmer. It slows and stops near the graveyard. Out of the shimmer a door opens and someone descends a ramp and begins to approach Parker and Zoshonel. Parker goes into his battle stance and reaches for his Battle Rifle, but Zoshonel greeting the person stops him. Apparently this new person is a friend.

Parker loosens up, but stands ready. He extends his hand in welcome. "I'm Parker. 'My-it' was it?"

"Yes, this is Myitt. She had to leave on some business, but now she's back. She's Corliss' sister. Myitt, this is Parker. He's a Humanoid that likes to walk around in heavy armor all the time."

((I think Kara was going to stay with Reven (lol, raven xD)  Dunno, haven't seen Rachel in a while..hmmm!...she'll be back, probably.))

"We have a lot of resources, too, and that is our single most difficult-to-get commodity.  Perhaps you can help us out of some tight spots sometime, eh?" says Corliss, smiling wanly at Temrash.  "As for the bar, it's hard to get to, hard to leave, but not impossible.  In fact, everyone seems to end up in whatever universe they're supposed to end up in when they go--unless someone's taking you along as a visitor.  It sort of destroys your brain to think about it."

---

"Yeah, I've got her ship," Myitt replies to Zoshonel.  "It's all hunky dory.  A right old tabula rasa, everything's wiped from it, and I still don't intend on giving it back to her.  Not if she's going to use it to cruise the galaxy as some kind of rogue.  People like that either die, get captured, or turn into bounty hunters; none of these are exactly the greatest options for Ardiss, too, remember."  She ponders.  "I might be convinced to reconsider, but it's not likely."  She glances at the targets.  "I'm glad you guys are having fun shootin' stuff."  She says the last bit in a really exaggerated spaghetti western accent, then grins and turns to Parker.

At Temrash's comment she laughs.  "Yes, business, that's a most excellent way of putting it, Temrash.  The kind of business that makes you very, very tired.  Hi, Parker.  I'm Myitt One-Nine-Five, formerly Two-Eight-Two, of the Taon Yerralash pool."  She shakes his hand firmly, still grinning.  "'Myitt' is just fine.  My host's name is Tara, she says 'hello.'"

<Hello,> Tara drones silently.  If she could've smirked, she would've.

She looks him up and down.  "That's an interesting getup you've got there.  Where are you from?"  Then she nods at the Engineer, some distance away.  "And who's your friend?  I've never seen his species before."

"I don't think Ardiss will be cruising around space. I heard them say something about taking her to earth to begin anew, but you'll have to ask Jagill about the details." Zoshonel said. "The engineer seems to be able to fix anything. I don't know what it is, though."

"I'm a human from another universe. I was born on Earth, but trained as a soldier from the age of 7 on a planet called Reach. This armor has saved my skin more than I have hairs on my head." Parker nods in the direction of the Engineer, "His kind are called 'Engineers'. We don't know their name for their species, 'cause we've never been able to understand their 'language', if they have one. He somehow appeared here after I did.

"Tara, huh? I have... had a comrade named Tara. The ship she was on was destroyed by our enemies. I'm sorry, did you say 'host'? You mean like that Asmodee guy?"

"I don't think Asmodee was infested. Was he? Well, there are these aquatice creatures called Yeerks that live in hosts. Some are good and some are bad, just will all sentient beings. They control the bodies that they are in, but the hosts of the nice ones don't always mind. Jagill has one in his head named Temrash."

"An engineer, huh?" Myitt giggles again.  "Well, we should get along nicely.  That's what I trained in."  She gazes down at her dirty hands, picking at a fingernail.  "Guess that's sort of obvious.  As for Ardiss, I think I will ask around inside.  Or isn't she here, too?  I thought she was coming back here, if for no other reason than to try and get her poor old ship back."

Myitt nods at Parker.  "I'm sorry to hear about your friend.  We, too, have lost friends in battle.  And yes, I inhabit my human friend Tara."  She pokes at her chest.  "I'm up here," she continues, tapping the side of her head and looking a bit nonplussed.  "You know.  Parasite-host relationship.  More mutualistic than most.  You haven't met any other Yeerks here, in the bar?"

"Ardiss is inside. She might not know you're back. Knowing her, she'll get in a huff as soon as she finds out you're here.

"Yeah, Yeerks, that's right. Asmodee was infested by one when I first crashed here. He was fighting Ossanlin. Eventually They ended in a sort of stale-mate. But then Alic came and pinned Asmodee. I helped them carry him to their ship. He said that a Yeerk was an infectious parasite and that Asmodee was 'cured'. But it seems to me like you're more like lichens.

"If I have met any other Yeerks, they haven't said they were Yeerks. The only others I've met are Hunter, Agent X, Ossanlin, Alic, Asmodee, Mar, and some insectoid that ran in and out of the bar."

Myitt peers off toward the bar, smirking.  "Ossanlin said that, huh?  Oh, how painful.  Hmm.  It probably means they starved the poor bastard out of Asmodee.  Probably deserved it.  But we're not a disease, or a lichen.  More like a..."

<Slug?> Tara offers unhelpfully.

Myitt's expression turns glum.  She tries in vain to search of a better comparison, but she isn't sure if Parker would understand 'multicellular protist' or 'veneth na geresk'.  "...like a slug," she finally sighs.  "Sort of."  She squints at Parker.  "You haven't met my brother?  I bet he still hasn't even started working on that goddamned Skimmer."

"A slug? You mean your appearance, or your functionality? And no, I don't believe I have met your brother. Who is he?"

"Corliss was sitting with Temrash and Ardiss. And yeah, they do look slug-like. I saw Jagill put Temrash in his ear the first time we met. Though I don't think Yeerks like being called slugs. Same way my species doesn't like being called lizards."

"'Lizards'?!? Dude, how can anyone confuse you for a lizard? Dragons are the sickest of all.

"'Corliss?' Was he the one that drew on Ardiss and Christine when Temrash gave them the gun? No, we never officially met."

"Yeah. Actually, I'm not sure why Jagill trusts ardiss with a gun. It seems kind of reckless. But he's smart. He probably has the energy cell powered down, or something like that. Corliss is just too untrusting to figure that out."

"We Draksar have been reffered to as lizards by a more arrogant species we are aquainted with. It's a derogatpry word, even if it is untrue."
