"Of course you're old enough to fly. You just need the right kind of ship. I suppose we could go show off for your brother. Try to bring her down near the entrance. The computer can help with that."

Speaking between bites. "Heading home... if i still have one... its been a while..." Finishes the food again.  "As for when... Not quite sure how to answer that one."

Keirdan stares at the control panel for a moment before smashing as many buttons as he can reach. He turns around and grins at Danika, his eyes wide. He lets out a nervous giggle.

Shal stands up, balancing on the rafter and stretches. She glances down, and drops to the bar floor a few feet behind the newcomer.

The computer took control after the random button pressing, and guided the ship down safely. "See Keirdan. You're a natural."

"Yeah, but where is home, man?  How did you get here, and how do you plan to get there?" Corliss asks.

No one had spoken to Zoshonel for a while, and he was feeling bored. He crawled over to where Asmodee was, but stayed on the rafters. "I'm not much for alchohol either."

"That's ok. This can be the official nonalchoholic table. Though caffinated beverages will be tolerated."

"So you and Temrash are friends now?"

"We're neutral."

"It's a start."

"Last few places I tried explaining where i was heading were met with some rather irritating looks.  Truth is I just know where I am heading, and I can tell "here" isnt particularly close.  As for how i get from place to place... You could say i just "fall into it".  Eventually I will stumble home I am sure."

Seems to content to sit back and sip the remainder of his drink.

Breekan smiles at Zarris. "If you're big into falling into places for no discernible reason, it would've been a shame for you not to end up here. I'm pretty sure 'stumbled in half-by-accident' is the closest this place gets to having actual coordinates."

He nods at Shal as she lands nearby. "And how're you doing?" he asks, finishing off his drink.

(Yikes! I've been neglecting this board lately. By the way, while Gaz and Morgan are on their expedition someone can feel free to have them run into trouble or something. lol)

Gaz was at the helm of her ship, The Vagabond. She was in communication with Morgan in The Cursed Pride about where they were going to intercept a cargo ship and do what pirates do best.

"I figure," Gaz said, "is that I'll come from starboard and you come from port. We'll sandwich them in."

"Sounds like a fine plan," Morgan replied. "So, tell me, what exactly is on this ship we're goin after?"

"Supplies," Gaz said, "along with some other fun gadgets. Ship upgrades, that sort of thing."

Then Fletcher came through on the ship comm.

"How long to the ship?" he asked.

"Not long," Gaz replied, "I'd say around an hour."

Shal shrugs at Breekan and eyes eyes the newcomer warily. She's beginning to worry about Keirdan. She gestures toward the BT, and he approaches her, a glass of redin already in hand. She tips it back, and takes a long drink.

Keirdan squeals, delighted with himself. He yawns, and states, "I'm tired."

"A walk-in, eh?  This place is notorious for that.  People just seem to find themselves here."  Corliss tilts his head curiously.  "Are you human?"

(Trouble for Gaz and Morgan? What if we have that shipment be guarded?)

Stay sharp men. We've been assigned to protect this vessel on the way to it's destination. We've already had some fun ruining a trap ealier, but that doesn't mean we're done yet." The captain said.

Captain Foosal was in charge of a small group of vessels guarding the ship that Gaz and Morgan intended to intercept. He was a not so young military man assigned a simple, but risky task. His group was made of small ships for the sake of faster travel, but the pilots were battle hardened and experienced.

*********************

Danika was tempted to try to take the boy now. It would be easy, but that was just not the kind of thing she had been sent here for. "Tired, Keirdan? Would you like to sleep in the ship, or shall we set up something in the bar? Do you need anything to help you sleep?"

((damn! i'm gone for 5 days, and i've gotta catch up 10 pages! XD lol))

“Z-Space? It’s basically a blank white nothingness where faster than light travel is possible. If I get any more technical, I reckon that my head will explode” Hunter said with a chuckle over his shoulder as he pushed through the swinging double doors of the bar. Pointing to the outside of the landing bay, towards where his ship was parked, it also just happened to be near where Parker had landed earlier.

Getting within a few meters of his ship, he stepped around the side of the crater, and he stood between the three claws of the front of his ship. Pressing a little hidden button on the side of the ship, the nano-window on the front phased out and allowed Parker to see inside.

Leaning inside, he powered it up, and switched on the external speakers that he had custom fitted. “Parker, do you mind if I have some music playing?” Pulling out an old iPod that he got from one of his trips to Earth, he pulled up some AC/DC. Even though they were really old, they were still awesome in his books.

Placing it on random, he heard the distinctive opening guitar riff to Highway to Hell start to play on the outside speakers.

‘Living easy, loving free, season ticket on a one-way ride
Asking nothing, leave me be, taking everything in my stride...’

“Well, here she is. My baby. She’s a top ‘o the line Gibrook LR-RF.”

Mar takes up a purring tone to his voice. Something about this new arrival amuses him. "Saying you came from nowhere and stumbled here is like saying you're a Space Bar native. You must know where you came from...where did you spend your youth? Although you may not be human, even I could tell you where I spent the period of my life where I was "young."

"Unless..." Mar glances at him oddly. "...you have no memory of such a thing."

"Memories... I have plenty of those."  The phrase sounds oddly bitter, but a moment later he moves on with the same casual tone as before.  "But of course if i didn't I wouldn't have much a clue of where I was going, would I?  It is more a factor of how any time I have tried to explain this, no one has a clue where I am talking about.  Given that I have more or less given up explaining, but instead simply saying I am heading home.  But if you are really that curious, I was born in the Isle of Valenia, an Island Nation west of the Tavnazian Peninsula on the continent of Quon.  Since then I have come to live on the Quon mainland in the service of the court of my cousin Lady Nessus of Eald..."  Frowns for a brief moment before continuing.  "Well then, any of what I said make any sense to you?"  Grins a bit sarcastically.

"Oh, and I am quite hume, far as I still know."  Finishes his drink and puts the glass on the bar.
