The bartender glares at Keirdan, and comes over to pull him out. Before he gets there, Christine grabs him by the arm. "Grapes are one thing, but that's just troublemaking. pure and simple." she said, as she pulls him out. She takes the glass, and puts them into her empty ice cream container. "Now look. Judging from the way you cried about us wanting to take those glass pieces, I know that not getting your way upsets you. But if you don't behave, someone is going to hurt you. The bartender looks about ready to right now. And don't start crying or squalling, or I'll put you in a corner. Play nice, or don't play at all."
She sat Keirdan in a seat, and let go of him. "I don't know your backstory kid, and I'm certainly not your mother. You need someone to set you straight, so you'll turn out to be a good man. So tell the barkeep you're sorry before he hits you, or something."
After a thought, she turned to keirdan and Shal. "Sorry if I'm stepping past my boundaries or anything. It's just how I...I mean my Yeerk Master handled children back on Earth."
