[Breekan1]

"Gahhh, ****sake!" Breekan grunts and lets go from the pain. He climbs up to his feet, stumbling. Lights and baubles flash before his eyes and everything seems to be muffled.

[Kit Cloudkicker]

Shal stumbles away from B1, trying to regain her balance. She then lunges towards Keirdan, knife in hand. She grabs him and begins to drag him towards the mangled door Myitt and co. exited out earlier.

[Breekan1]

Breekan shakes his head, trying to find a straight path with the world tilting. Not trusting himself to fire a gun safely, he pops out his claws and spikes before scrambling after Shal. He makes a grab for her ankle.

[Kit Cloudkicker]

She screams and stumbles as B1 gets her ankle. She falls hard on top of Keirdan. She rolls over in an attempt to give herself leverage before slashing at the child.

[Breekan1]

He pushes Shal away from Kierdan and tries to pin her to the ground. "Someone check the kid!" he screams between gritted teeth.

[Kit Cloudkicker]

Shal kicks up at B1, and twists away. She swings the knife at Keirdan again, this time, she doesn't miss. The child opens his mouth to scream, but he disappears before the sound leaves his lips.

[Breekan1]

"Right, then." Breekan aims his gun at Shal's legs. He fires. Green electricity crackles before coalescing into a ball of hot, ragged energy that gallops forth at mach speed.

[Kit Cloudkicker]

Shal howls, grabbing at the air where Keirdan was. She lets out another scream as B1's blast hits her legs. She falls back onto the floor, her eyes closed, breathing heavily.

[Breekan1]

He points the Gun at Shal's head. "Right. Now, this thing is more than capable of killing you, which is good, because otherwise it'd be pretty useless as far as guns go. I'm going to fire if you so much as adjust your posture. So tell me- who are you, and why on earth are you going ballistic for Shal's kid? Also, why the glowing?"

[Kit Cloudkicker]

Shal glares up at B1. "That thing is not mine. IT IS NOT MINE. HE sent it after me!"

[Breekan1]

"Right! Paranoia. Understandable. But Shal, he's a child. An evil one, potentially, but that does not seem to be an insurmountable problem, as we both demonstrate. Let's not lose our heads here. Let's try and not kill children. I think it'd be a good place for us to start, morally speaking."

[Kit Cloudkicker]

Shal stands up, swatting B1's gun out of her way. She stares at him silently for a moment before storming back out to the bar. She grabs a bottle of whiskey on her way out, glaring at the BT. She sits in a booth, and takes a swig of the whiskey.

[Breekan1]

Breekan follows after her. "Hey! Not quite that easy, sis. You tried to murder a child. Also, glowing? This is worthy of our concern."

[Kit Cloudkicker]

Shal stares at B1. "It's not a child, it's a thing. I did not give birth to that thing. Daddy-dearest created it. It's been hunting me for years" She takes another swig of the whiskey. "If you hadn't...." she drops her head, letting it hit the table. She remains like that, letting out a barely audible groan.

[Breekan1]

"Right, acceptable. In which case, he's not your kid, he's your- our little brother. Think of it like this: which of you was the first to attack? Which of you was hiding? Obviously Keirdan can materialize from place to place, and he knew where you were. So why would he bother to come to me, and have me let you out, if he could have just snuck into the cellar where you were, taken Lightyear's shredder and blown your brains out?"
