Myitt sighs and turns around in the wooden chair, squinting out the foggy glass window at the red glow of something big and black. "What, he's just here for a drink," she grumbles, but she flips up a small holoscreen display, sparked by the little blackish-green cube in her pocket. The transparent screen flickers and scrolls text, first in green, then in crimson. "Huh. Yeah, you know, on second thought I think I want to get my ship outta here. Let's take the back door." She pauses to narrow her eyes at Torran and Joanne. "Oh, how cute, you two and the other guy--" she nods at Hunter, "--think you can pile on the cash by making things look like you planned all this? Is that whatcha thinkin'?" She shakes her head. "Not in this lifetime." She sidles past them, around the bar, past the dusty old player piano that no one ever seems to play, and kicks the back door gently open. The little holoscreen display floats behind her head, flashing, if you can read Yeerkish backwards, "WARNING...PROXIMITY ALERT". It flickers and vanishes.
The door leads to a small hallway with three other doors. Myitt curses. "Which one's the exit?" she hisses.
<How should I know?>
There are no helpful signs anywhere to be seen. She shrugs and opens the one on the end of the hall, the most logical for the back of the building.
It opens onto a roaring blackness, and she quickly shuts it, eyes wide, back against the door. "Wrong one," she exhales.
((Heya Russell! Yesss, come play with us! ^___^ That IS who I think it is, right? Canon characters at the bar...well, I'll eat my hat!
