"I have a solid plan." Temrash told Ossy. He knew trying to reason with Alic wouldn't work. "You just need to trust me. I let Cordiss see my memories. I put myself at your mercies multiple times. What more should I have to do for you people to put a little trust in me? What do you think would happen during a two day trip to my place? Or do you really think I would betray you? Maybe Ardiss isn't like Myitt. Maybe she's more like me. Though I'm not a coward, the main reason I left was because I hated working for the Council."

"If you have a better plan, then I'll be for it. But until then,. I'd appreciate a little trust on your parts."

((oh dear. What did I start? :P ))

Kara whimpers, hiding her face from Myitt, scared now of Tara's body which so recently wore Ardiss' sneer. She mumbles something incoherent and begins to cry once more.

-------

Ardiss, of course, feels nothing except for a relative earthquake as the liquid she is immersed in sloshes around violently. She echolocates madly, but cannot get a handle on her situation and only hopes that no one dumps her over.

(I'm thinking it might have been better for Temrash to just go sit with Gaz and wait until she responded. But I can't go back now. Maybe Gaz will help save me, since I offered her payment. ;) *wink wink*)

Alic kept her stance, waiting for Ossanin to reply. No one was going to let the two yeerks leave and he was stuck here without help.
<Temrash.> Alic started calmy. <Why don't you hand your little friend over to my friend right there> She nodded at Ossanlin.
<Unfortunately, I won't hurt it. Why don't you go get your save-a-slug first aid kit, and come back?>

Temrash thought that over. The group seemed to be evenly, or almost evenly, split between those that were willing to kill her, and those that were willing to keep her alive. "Would that plan be more satisfactory? And I'd be assured that she'll still be here when I get back in approximately five days?"

"I don't want Ardiss dead either, Temrash," Breekan calls down. "And I certainly don't want to kill you. You seem like a nice guy, although this is the third time you've endangered our lives. Ardiss knows enough to completely **** everything Myitt and Corliss have been working for- the same resistance you recently joined, if I'm not mistaken." He stays high in the air, blaster ready. He places his other hand near a previously un-used panel on his suit. "And believe me- talking in cliches won't help you here."

He nods eagerly as Alic speaks. "And that there? That's thinking. That's damn good thinking."

"This trust thing seems to be a one way street for you people. What more do I have to do? Seriously? Give my soul to Myitt? And what do you mean third time? Ok, Alic ticked Jagill off and he hit her. Not sompletely my fault. The woman approves of genocide, for crying out loud. The Hunter isn't my fault either. I didn't ask for him to chase me around. And my current plan only causes danger if Gaz's ship gets attacked en route. Not highly likely, unless people are chasing her." He said. Then he went back to the bar.

Breekan touches down to the ground and sighs. "It's nothing personal, but that's not exactly a stellar track-record, you know? You snatch a huge security threat like her up without asking, go off to snag someone else's ship, and barely give us time to react. So," he shrugged; he'd yet to put his blaster back into his arm, "we made some time to react."

Alic sighed as Temrash walked away and relaxed her tail. She would have almost liked to find out how they could have done in one on one combat. She looked over to Ossanlin and smiled as she headed to the bar following Temrash.

"I wasn't going to snag anyone's ship. I just came out here to get more room to maneuver. If we were going to fight, I'd rather it be out here."

(You know, my character is supposed to be a former Visser. I think he should probably be smarter than how I'm playing him. Or maybe I'll just play him out like he got up there by being a great fighter. Not a great strategist. What do you guys think? I think I might have messed him up.)

Breekan shrugs, tired and distracted. When he enters the bar, he points at Shal. "You!" He says, excitedly. "What the hell!?"

(And I'd say you're playing him fine- a little bit of cognitive dissonance isn't unheard of. Maybe the years of sympathizing with Jagil and cruising the galaxy have caused him to think a bit more haphazardly and spontaneously to adapt to new challenges, and as a result his old Visser planning and strategizing abilities are rusty, but he's able to roll with the punches and keep maneuvering? Really, as long as you're having fun playing him, you should be fine. Logic is a bit secondary in the GESB. ;D)

(Yeah. He's just a bit out of touch. He forgets how to work as a team, but he'll get better.)

When Kara starts to cry, Mar springs to her defense. It's the first thing he thinks of doing, especially considering he's drunk. He lifts himself up painfully and stumbles close to Kara, this time successfully putting an arm on her shoulder.

"It's perfectly alright. They're professionals. Nothing will happen to you."

Mar isn't exactly thrilled with this position, and he's not sure how long he can hold it.  But he can't let the poor thing sob while he does nothing. He also can't let Temrash attack his precious, but he has no idea at all how to fight him without endangering himself. Even the way he is, he's not going to do that twice. Have to do something that won't hurt me directly.

So he instead focuses on sending some kind of telepathic message in his real voice in the general direction of the party. This shouldn't be as difficult; his presence is technically everywhere in the room although he can't access it and he is not doing anything terribly offensive. At least, that's how he reasons it right now.

What comes out, should they hear it is:

<Temrash, should you hurt Myitt I will appear as myself briefly, Crayak be damned. It might endanger me and possibly this location, but I care about Myitt too deeply. I dearly hope you people can settle this alone however. I've heard and know many of you have great powers.>

((I think you're playing him fine. Aliciania is definately not your typical Andalite female. Everyone here is quite out of the ordinary!))

((Yeah, don't worry about it. Hell, Mar is a multi-dimensional evil from out-of-universe in mortal form. x3 The Space Bar's a weird place. ))
