(That wasn't the one I was talking about. As far as I know it's a joke RP anyway.)

((So long as we all remember not to god mod -- whether by creating characters' technology so powerful that no one can counter it or by allowing characters to know too much simply because their players do -- I think we'll all be fine. In the case of Warren, his characters are going against some extremely formidable opponents. If his characters' only forms of retaliation are bullets and lasers, they might not last more than a few seconds. It's highly possible I'm missing something, but I don't really see a problem with the current situation.))

It startles Elayne when Mar sits. It is certainly strange to see him looking so... tired. Even though she hasn't known him long, it's evident from more than just the stories he spouts that he is not used to the irksome complications of mortal life that those like Elayne hardly even consider. She offers her hand to him. "There are rooms in the Bar, right? And there's a bed on my ship. You probably shouldn't let yourself fall asleep where a dilapidated Bug fighter could land on your head at any moment."

((Remember Warren, your soldiers are still under Silver's illusion, whether or not they activated stealth; unless she RPs that she lets the illusion it go. So they should all still see Parker coming at each one.))

Parker saw the blue-grey walls dissipate. He looked up and saw the soldiers disappear, but his motion sensor was still active. Ah, gonna play it that way huh? He switched his visor to Thermal, and saw that all eight men were still there standing in rows on each side of him. Haha, I can see you. He then activated his own stealth camoflauge and disappeared from view. Can you see me? Hopefully Silver's vision would hold and they would all be distracted by their own personal Parker.

He deposited his shotgun with his left hand and withdrew his energy sword with his right. He activated the blade and leaned to the right. He aimed his blade to slice through the sides of the men on his right. His arm wasn't fully extended, so even if they attempted to dodge, Parker had the range to move his arm to ensure each man was at least badly cut, if not sliced entirely through.

((SPARTAN-IIs have stealth of their own. I'm not making this up on the fly so you guys know. I think I've actually used it here before. Any technology or abilities I RP are truthful to HALO canon. The only creative licensing I took was the number of weapons he's able to hold. But I have stayed true to what those weapons are.

Also Warren, SPARTANs have insane reaction times, so there's no way you're not going to lose a few men here.))

((The dinos were a bit of a surprise, I agree, haha. But he's giving some otherwise-NPCs some personality, and I appreciate that. Besides, his characters are going against someone with the ability to see through their disappearing act with two effortless methods -- someone who can disappear at whim -- someone with an all-but-impossible-to-counter range of attacks. I know that all Parker does is true to the HALO 'verse, but the HALO 'verse is apparently a lot tougher than the Animorphs or Firefly 'verses, so it's natural Warren might want to take some liberties to make his characters even give Parker a challenge. I'm not trying to call you out or anything, Parker; you know I enjoy RPing with you, and I think you're a very talented writer. I just don't see how a couple of dinos and a technological invisibility cloak is really a big deal, in the grand scheme of things.))

(((Apparently, I've caused a bit of a stir-up.... Honestly, I figured the CG were made up... I had no clue that was from a real story or had its own canon and stuff. The dinos were two of my "CG" morphers. I'm relatively new to RPing, so I didn't know that cross-universe stuff was ...annoying. (Can someone tell me where to learn about the 'Firefly' universe? Sounds interesting...) My guys, being human, are all from Earth, and I figured that everyone on Earth knows by now about the morphing technology, even if they can't reproduce it. That's why I made only a few of my guys just happen to stumble upon it. And I'll cut out the gauntlet-blade-thingies, 'cuz I figured it was too much anyways.. (would it be bad if they're good at hand-to-hand combat?) Also, I didn't know what else could stop your spartan dude!!! He so bad, I had no clue how else to not just lay down and die! I didn't mean to cause a problem, if I did... I had no clue I was mixing stuff up.)))

"I guess those things can be mine." Temrash said as Parker handled the troops. He ran in front of the lumbering lizards, and took a few shots at them to get their attention and lure them back into the trees. Into his element. From there he would ideally handle them.

Silver was now more leaning on her mother instead of hugging her, but she tried not to show the pain she felt. Some of her hair was matted to her forehead from perspiration that made its way. She was very tired and her aura was weak. She tried to take controled breaths instead of the panted breaths she felt she needed.

Dara moves over to the woman Temrash point out. He aims his dracon beam at one of the dinosaurs. "I wonder how well these things fight with a giant hole in their chest." He asks the woman in the shield device then he squeezes the trigger once...

"Don't draw them towards you!" Temrash yelled to Dara. "Let us do the hard work! You just make sure anything getting past us doesn't get to them! Since they seem to be invisible, try using your sense of smell!"

He had made it to the treeline, trying to stay in what should be a safe distance without being too far away. Though he really didn't know how fast those things could move.

"Sorry!!" Dara yelled and then sniffs the air he smells humans other than the one's near over towers the tall guy with armor who disppeared but was still there because Dara could smell him. "Sorry 'bout that" he says to the females in the shield. I need to start thinking before I act  or I could get myself and others killed!

((Just to clear things up, I've got six guys in the opening (the three that had made the shield, kinda clustered, and three others, pretty spread out) and the two morphed Spinosaurus.))

Things were not looking good for the Beta Squad.... That's an understatement; things had never looked worse. Four armored men that may as well be tanks were honing in on Rayker, Carson, and Wester. Riley and Charlotte ("Charlie") were not doing as well in Spinosaurus morph as anyone had hoped; they were drawing heavy fire, and Riley's attempt at swatting away their pursuers  had earned him a frightening hole in his chest and shoulder. He was already visibly weak. Charlotte was retreating; she was slowly backing up at first, but then turned tail and ran back to the cover of the woods. The woods probably wouldn't help much if the Hork-Bajir followed however.... So far, Antonio, Lennan, and Jackson had seemed to evade detection since activating their camo-suits, but it didn't seem that luck was going to last. The gun-slinging armored guys were still hot on their trail, despite their invisibility. The merciless assailant shot past nearly too fast to even comprehend. One thing that was easily noticeable were the gashes in the three soldiers he was after.  Carson and Rayker were down, bleeding profusely. Wester appeared to be holding back the bleeding... either that or holding in his innards. The three "fortunate" soldiers came rushing in, disregarding silence or stealth.

No, things were certainly not looking good.

"Stand down!" Rayker shouted as loud as he could in his condition, which wasn't much louder than normal conversation level. "guns down, camo off,  on the ground..." The uninjured trio did so, though hesitantly. Riley was already down... whether or not he chose to be was unclear. Charlotte lowered herself to the ground and began to demorph, leaving herself exposed....

"We're not here to fight.... you. We're... here to help...." Rayker gasped.

((It's cool Warren. I was new too. I'm not mad or anything. So don't read any negative emotion in my posts. By cross-universes, we mean that this bar exists in every universe, not every universe exists together in one. It's that way to allow you to use characters from other canons. However we do ask that you stay true to those canons. The Central Government soldiers that captured Morgan came straight from the Firefly universe, and had never been here before; so there's no way they could've encountered anything Animorphs related.

I was also gonna say that even if they had the morphing ability, how did they get Spinosaurus DNA? That's even less probable.

It's okay though, I'm gonna delete my objections and we'll carry on from here. Just try to pick a canon and stick with it. That's all I wanted to say. Sorry for the harsh welcome. :-\ ))

Parker skid to a stop after passing the three soldiers he assaulted. He noticed three of the eight targets on his motion detector were no longer moving. One of the two bigguns was retreating, and the other had a sizable hole in his chest. When he heard one of the men shout orders to stop fighting, Parker turned and extinguished his blade. He hooked the sword hilt to his side holster and walked toward the three on the ground. He looked to the left and saw the other three stop running away. Thor spoke up, <Sir, I can confirm they've turned off their stealth.>

Parker said, "Good." and returned his visor to its default setting. Thor was right, as always, the three retreating soldiers deactivated their stealth modules and laid down their arms. By the time Parker reached the one giving orders, his stealth had reached its runtime limit, powered itself off, and began to recharge. Parker stood over the commander and asked, "What do you mean 'help'? You held my friend's crew hostage, and threatened to kill us."

Silver seen they had quit fighting. She didn't know why but she wasn't able to hold the image anymore. She waved a hand to release it and collapsed on the tree panting hard. Her energy and aura was but a mist now. She was so tired.... She fought to stay awake in case they needed her.
