Seran:
*feels his tail connect with Myitt's host as he grins to himself again. He prepares for another blow, but sees the Dracon leveled at his face. He dives to the side, but the searing beam of light from Myitt's dracon splashes into his left shoulder, burning his host's flesh and causing him to emit a scream of agony. It wasn't fatal, a glancing blow, but she must've had the beam modified somehow, it was more powerful and less focused than standard issue dracons. At least at the setting she had it on.*
"AAAARRRH!" *he tumbles across the floor and catches himself with his good arm, standing up quickly, pain searing through his left arm. It was hanging limp, useless at the moment. He grimaces as he works to unholster his own dracon, he had set it to incapacitate earlier as a forethought, he wouldn't want to disintigrate his promotion after all.* "You'll pay for that, wretched traitor!" *he levels his dracon at Myitt and pulls the trigger, but the same hork-bajir from before knocks his arm off tack, sending his shot slightly wide. He brings a knee up to sink into the flesh of the other hork-bajir's right thigh, blocking another wild blow from the traitorous hork-bajir.* "I don't know who you are, but you've chosen the wrong time to fight." *he removes his knee blade and brings it forward and up again in another vicious jab, but the other hork-bajir dives out of the way, his leg dripping a great deal of blood. Seran levels his dracon again at Myitt.*
Ossanlin:
*desperately claws his way back through the milling, near-panicked hork-bajir, earning a few nicks and cuts for his trouble, and emerges just in time to see Seran dive and spin around as Myitt catches his shoulder with a dracon blast. The scream of pain was both troubling and satisfying as Ossanlin knew Seran's unwilling host was experiencing the agony as much as Seran. Unlike Seran, he could not block out the pain.*
<<Myitt, again! I'll distract him!>>
*he lunges as Seran levels his dracon at Myitt, and manages to knock his aim slightly off right before he fires, sending the beam slightly off to the side of it's intended course. He suddenly feels a sharp pain in his thigh and grunts, realizing that Seran had sunk a knee-blade deep into Ossanlin's muscle tissue. He bit down on his cry of pain and merely grunted, the blade twisting agonizingly in his flesh. He attempts another wild slash at Seran's face, but his arm is easily intercepted by Seran's fore-arm. Ossanlin grits his teeth in response to Seran's little speech and just as the controller removes his knee-blade in preparation for a more effective blow, he dives to the side, hoping he's bought enough time for Myitt to get another shot or get out of sight.*
