Isn't anyone else afraid of them?  :-[
"I always considered myself a loner. I mean, not like a poor-me, Byron-esque, I-should-have-broughta-swimming-buddy loner. I mean the sort of person who doesn’t feel too upset about the prospect of a weekend spent seeing no one, and reading good books on the couch. It wasn’t like I was a people hater or anything. I enjoyed activities and the company of friends. But they were a side dish. I always thought I would also be happy without them."

I really liked the Iskoorts ^^ even if I wouldn't really like to stay in their world too much time ^^'
Ax said the Iskoort are too far and Yeerks need 300 years to find them. But I saw the distance Ax said was too big, and out of the Galaxy (KASU) so...
And it's strange to imagine they're from the same species at the beginning, when we see the Yeerks 30 before the Animorphs, when Andalites just arrive to their planet...

I always thought of the Iskaroot as crazy.

From a technical standpoint my theory is that the Iskaroot tryed to create a culture rather than have one arise that would explain the need of guilds and class positions to fill each aspect of society. Also I think in their former conquests as Yoort they came to apreciate the uniqueness of each of the worlds as "guide" says
"The idea is to have something unique." This eventually evolved into a trade of items unique which came to dominate their society.

Just to ease your fears.

This book I read for one of my classes theorized that commerce is suppose to replace warfare because commerce can achieve everything war does but better, so maybe the Iskoort are an example of that.
