These are both for 100, cause I mean come on, 600 dollars is alot of money to raise lol and i dont really see us raising much more than that, but if we do, maybe then we can look at something a little more expensive but these or something similar should be good

How about we sell RAF t-shirts! and audiobook shirts and stuff like that! seriously that could be pretty awesome, we've wanted shirts for awhile, might as well use them for a good cause

Also we'll just be looking for donations I guess, I'm willing to donate a little chunk o change to support the project, anyone else?

I like the idea of selling t-shirts, but realistically, how many people would want to buy them?  Probably just the frequent members and that's about 30 people.

yea but if we ask for 20 bucks a shirt and figure we can have them made for 3-4 bucks a shirt thats $440, so we'd need another $160 from donations but 30 people actually buying shirts is a little high hoped so we'll say maybe 20 and make $280 then we'll need to get another 320 from donators which isnt too far-fetched, might take some time tho

Hmm, okay.  We'd need someone who could come up with a really sick design for the t-shirts.  But who?

Maybe even if we could pay for a portion for each person it might work out.

Right, thats where the donations will come into play, probably mostly from the audiobookers cause we're the only ones who care about this thing lol, but if we can make some actual money to lessen how much we'll actually have to pay then that would be cool cause none of us are exactly rich lol (the money rich not the person richard)

Hmm...do you know where you can make t-shirts in bulk for $4 a piece?

I've been looking at a few sites and the cheapest I've found for the quantity we would need is about $10 per shirt.  And that's with only two colours :S
If we sold 20 for $20, that would be $200 profit which isn't bad.  Oh, but then there's shipping...
I'd still like to find someone on RAF who could come up with a really good design.

well a local print shop can usually do it pretty cheap if you go in bulk, i guess we'll make like 50 or something, i dno ill try to find the prices for some places

Ah, true.  It'll cost about $5 to ship around the continental US so I think the profit would still be about $10.

well we would make them pay for s&h too of course haha its for a good cause! hopefully everyone will pay just cause of that

maybe we should start up a new tshirt thread in general so we can find a good designer and get people involved again

One thing is that I'd like to make sure that whoever we give a microphone to, we know that they'd be commited.  Think about how many Tobias' we've had

yea that will definately be a concern, any future members will have to be regular members who everyone can agree is trustworthy cause the mic we would be sending them wouldnt be theirs it would be RAF's

imo the cast we have now is all trustworthy so thats gewd
