Acre

"Voluntary, ha.  Headmistress, I hope you were listening because I'd rather not go back into this.  Although I would like some answers on how we won't get caught as well as how you'll protect everyone entwined in this little school."  He smiled at a thought that entered his head.  "If only life was so simple."  He muttered.

Ryan and Hector

The best course would be to disperse. A large group would tell the yeerks something is happening but small and insignificant groups won't.

A plan popped into existence.

"We have an idea!" Chirped the twins, raising their right hands in unison.

Sierra

Sierra privately thanked whatever supreme being there may have been that not much conversation had followed the kiss.  Though she did sense the twins enjoyed it a bit much for her comfort.  She stood in the Headmistress's office.  When the twins raised their hands, it was all she could do to keep from bursting out laughing at them.  Planning for war, and still raising their hands like young schoolboys.

Acre

"Well let's hear it.  Can't make my headache worse than it is already."  Acre sat down and waited.

Ryan and Hector

"If we are to protect the school and the younger classmates, we should institute a way to divide the school up. Like a spy agency, we will be split up in small cells. That way we won't bring attention to us as a large group."  Ryan said to the others.

"Then we can also narrow down on those who are important, interrogate them and gain more information. We don't have to have straight out battles. And even if we did, all it would take was one of them to realize who we are. Then we're doomed."  Hector continued. "We need to keep an inventory of who the parents are, the students and to monitor all activity."

"That's actually a decent idea."  She gave a malicious grin.  "I can help with interrogation.  It could be my specialty."

The Headmistress
"Yes that is all very well but we have an emergency situation. Cody's mother has been taken and she knows about the school if the yeerks gain that info we are all going to become targets. I am afriad that for your mission will be in a few hours and that is critical." a holographic screen appeared. "I have interviewed Cody's father a former controller and found out that yeerks have a feeding place called a yeerk pool this is the main center of the yeerk organization. The pool is a area where yeerk slugs bathe and absorb kandora rays which they need to survive. As we know the Yeerks have something called a kandora particle generator which provides the pool with rays. We will split you into to two groups of three one to destroy the generator which is at the top of this hospital another to rescue Cody's mother. professor alexander time to show the students what you have cooked up."

(dunno. she isn't online on MSN)

Ryan and Hector

"That sounds really risky Headmistress. Even if we succeed, if the yeerks were smart they would have video footage of us." Ryan voiced his objections.

"Who is going to plan the battle strategy?" Hector hoped that whoever is doing it, isn't going to just say 'bust in and break stuff'. And besides, if the plan isn't sound, they were definitely not going to jion.

Then professor Alexander came in holding all suits of fine armor. "I thought of stealth each of your suits of armor is a metal material that is laser resistant and the parts are bonded electronically. The armor is also light weight and each suit in total weighs ten pounds." he said displaying the armor that bore a shade of dark midnight blue and a white plastic looking substance at the joints. "Also each suit of armor has attributes to benefit it's wearer. Your suit Gabriel has holder's for crystals at points located both in the helmet and at certain nerve points and slightly more connected with electric pads. Ryan and hector your suits have a digital network that allows a simulation of a close distance that amplify your abilities. Sierra's suit I am particularly proud of though at the end of the glove are green emitter's which connect to the Brain through circuitry these allow the projection of your persuasive abilities up to 15 feet. Chad your suit also has crystal holders but less than Gabriel's and is slightly heavier than the others. Cody I have equipped your suit with magnet boots which are voice activated and is also lighter."

"Thank you professor" said the Headmistress

"Whichever one of the twins has earth powers would be best going into the pool complex. I could go to the hospital, since we'll be fighting in rooms and hallways. It would be hard for the enemy to fight me outside my area with all those walls around us." Chad said as he examined his suit.

"I could work the hospital.  One, I know the layout.  Two, I'll be able to control the enemy and keep them from injuring anyone without being obvious."

Ryan and Hector

Tacky, thought both twins examining the suits.

"Since it's a pool complex and it's underground we can both go." Ryan poked at the suit before looking at the others. "Guys...gals..if we are to engage the enemy either you kill them or erase their memory. All it takes is one host to live or one yeerk and our secret is blown."

Hector looked pointedly at the electronics in the room. "Headmistress do we have anyone working on electromagnetic fields? We can send an EM pulse through the hospital. Anything electronic will die. The back up generators will keep those on life support online but the security cameras will go down. This way there will no evidence anyone was there."

Acre

"Wow...just wow.  Guess I'll just stick with a black mask over my eyes.  That's how the Americans do it and if it's good enough for them, I guess it's fine for me too.  No reason for a suit for me in either case.  I can't deal with the extra weight if I'm going to fly anyone up to the hospital."  Acre wasn't happy.  In all truth he preferred going without the suit, he already had a plan that would make the ducking and sneaking in the hospital walkways needless, and would keep the dangers for the sick, as well as anyone else, low.  What annoyed him was being left out of the running, plus the thought that he might not be able to pull it off.  "It doesn't matter."  He said shaking his head.  "I don't know about this pool thing but good luck.  As for the hospital, well,"  Acre grinned.  "I can do it with some help from Chad.  As much as the twins lack tact, I'm sure they would do better destroying a pool house than a hospital with sick and unhealthy people in it.  Cody might be useful but I don't want to take too many."  He turned toward Gabriel.  "You know a lot about crystals right?  Maybe you could supply us with some.  But if you're telepathic like I've heard, it'd be best if you went to the pool.  That way you could listen to see if someone notices you and tries to hide it.  The silent alarm trick and all that."  He looked at his knuckles which had stopped bleeding.  "Sierra, you can go with the twins.  Your powers can be used to force Cody's mom to come."  Acre sighed unhappily.  "The obituaries are going to have more entries tomorrow,  I just know it."  He stood and slipped his hands into his pockets, rummaging around for some reciept paper.  "Anything you'd like to add Headmistress.  After all you're the one who brought us together so you get to be in charge.  What's you're plan, I apologize for speaking before we could here it."

Ryan and Hector

It wasn't as if they liked gunning after Acre, it was just he was just such a nice sweet target.

"We're going to bring the roof down on the pool, killing all and any inside. Aside from Cody's mom of course." Hector added at the end with a nod at Cody. "True that might cave in any building above the pool but still, that will severely screw up with any plan the yeerks have."

"Or an ice age." Ryan grinned. "Frozen yeerk on a stick." They were callous and they do have tact. Acre just wasn't privileged enough to receive any.

Then a thought occurred.

Ryan stared at Acre intently. "If you were given the chance to see how many people are in the building, can you snuff out their air? That way they will all collapse and then we don't have to fight. Or just deprive of the hospital of air. Or get nerve gas and you just use your wind abilities and float it though or flood the place with chloroform." He took a deep breath. "If it were us, we would keep some fighters up near our golden goose. To cut it short, Acre you bust the highest window, swoop in, and take all the oxygen out. Everyone else, unconscious. End of story."

Acre

Acre stopped and pulled his hands out of his pockets.  "You know what.  I can't stand it.  Well if you two apes want to kill than go ahead.  He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.  And that applies doubly so with anything else.  Always malcontent, never being happy with the status quo.  If I don't want to kill than it's my business.  You want to goad me?  Want to see how long a person can live without oxygen, not long.  It gets noticeably shorter when their lungs go pop.  Did you know your blood cells carry oxygen too.  Let's say all of a sudden instead of nice happy air molecules, every blood cell in your body turns into a speeding dagger, ready to cut through veins and all that with every pump of your tiny worthless black heart.  We all pay for our sins in one way or another."  The air had begun growing thick again.  "Acre stopped talking, looked around, and smiled.  The air went back to normal.  "Well I'm done here, done all I can.  I'm going up to my little office and if you need me, you can find me with my birds."  He walked calmly out of the room and shut the door.  Once in the hall he took off towards the outside.  Bursting through the doors he lept up and created a powerful burst of wind that carried him to the roof.  His chair was still there but he had taken his book home.  He sat back and stared at the sky.  "Someday I'll join you."  He muttered as the birds flew around.  "Though whether it will be as a man or spirit I can't be sure."
