They didn't train the Buffa-human like they did Cindy. It makes perfect sense. To me anyway, although I prefered the Tobias-Rachel relationship...

Yeah, but I was just wondering if a hawk actually has the mental capacity to act like a normal human, trained or not.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Personally I don't believe the hawk would be able to retain knowledge, even with training, due to the limited mental capacity the non-sentient being would posses after demorphing back... Also, factor in the pure animal instincts it posses, even in human morph. It must've been hell for Tobias and Ax to train the hawk to be civilized... >.>;

But then again, that's my take on the limits of morphing...

There are technically no written rules on this "animal to  human" morphing, so it's totally ambiguous and valid if Nohensen wants to make it possible.

They made it to the mall, and all morphed Human somewhere safe.

"You have never taken me to the mall, Tobias. It is a very large building. What do you do there?"

"We hang out, shop, and play arcade games. There's a lot to do there."

"Do not forget to tell her about the wondrous food, Tobias. Foooduh. There are cinnamon buns and other salty, flavorful food at the food court. That is where Prince-uh, I mean Jake invited us to."

"Are cinnamon buns meaty? I have enjoyed many meats."

"No. There is more to food than meat. Non-meat items can taste good when you are Human, Cindy."

"Come on, guys. We only have a couple of hours to get in and out."

They made their way in, where everyone else was seated. They took seats, with Cindy between Ax and Tobias.

"Hey guys." Tobias said.

"Hey Tobias. Who's the girl?" Marco asked.

"I am Cindy. I live with Tobias."

Everyone stared at her for a few moments.

"I was planning on easing everyone into this."

"Tobias, what did you do?" Jake asked.

"Well, I used the box on our favorite female hawk. Now she's like me."

"Does no one else understand it's what's on the inside that counts? Because as cheesy as that line is, it's true." Rachel said.

"She's a hawk that can morph Human. Just like me."

"Tobias, you aren't a hawk." Rachel replied.

"He's not?" Marco asked.

Jake got up and went over to Ax. "Come with me. We need to talk." Ax got up and left.

Rachel glared at Cindy, who was leaning on Tobias. She was about to say something when Cassie pulled her away.

"You know, Tobias," Marco said when it was just the three of them. "She looks kinf of like Rachel."

"What do you mean?"

"The hair color, skin color, build, and height are similar."

"So I like girls a certain  way. What are you saying?"

"I'm saying you aren't totally over rachel, and probably subconsciously picked out girls that looked similar to her."

Ax came back, and Jake went to find the girls. "Jake has infomred me that I should not allow you to do things without the consent of the group. Also, the box is off limits. I believe he may be somewhat angry."

"This didn't really go very well."

"Dude, you can't go showing off your new girlfriend in front of your old girlfriend. That will never go well."

I'm rather ashamed of myself. I knew I had a problem with finishing stories, but I figured I'd be able to finish a story that's less than ten chapters long. Apparently it's worse than I thought. I'm just going to spill the ending and be done with this.

As Cindy experienced Humans, she noticed that people who were more interested in sex than anything else were mostly looked down upon. This goes against animal behaviour, so she disagrees with it. Also, since Tobias doesn't want to have sex with her anymore, due to guilt and still having feelings for Rachel, he can't be considered a mate. So she breaks up with him. He gets depressed, but Rachel comforts him and says she'll always be there for him. Kind of a happy touchy ending, except that we know she'll die during the last battle for Earth.

Cindy agrees to not morph again, and flies away forever. The End. That's the summary of the last two chapters I was going to write. I think I need proffessional help. Or maybe just a cowriter that likes to write, but lacks in imagination. Or maybe just hates brainstorming.

Hey, I'll take the tl;dr version.

I still find the premise of a hawk being able to function as a human being a bit too implausible (though I know I shouldn't find anything implausible in a story about alien parasites and morphing technology, hahaha), but I enjoyed this.  Good work!  :)

Now for the other fic to be completed and the judging to begin.  ;)

I thoroughly did enjoy this fic, Nohensen, and that ending sounded like it would've been great. But, I understand your sentiments... I'm almost feeling the same way about my fic, as so far it doesn't seem to be gathering any interest. But then again, you never know >.> I've vowed to finish it no matter what, and so I'm sticking to write it all the way to the end...

I'm hoping you'll be moving on to writing more stories! I'll be there reading 'em ^^

A bit sorry to hear that you couldn't really finish it (I was kinda waiting on you a bit which gave me an excuse to be lazy with mine), but I don't have that much left to write I think.  We'll be able to do the poll after I get my last chapter up.
YOU'RE WINNER !

OK, I'm not proffessional or lacks in imagination or hate brainstorming but I think I can see your problem, you did come up with the end, so it's not, lack in imagination. As you said you wanted less then ten chapters, you can make some notes out from that point. Chapter 1 will contain this and chapter 2 will contain that. This can also be used if you have a beginning and an ending but nothing between for example. Just make a note of what will happen in the first chapter and the last, and then the chapters between.
Or if you have wrote some chapters allready. You can read it thought and then continue the same way, by making notes about what's going to happen it each chapter.

By the way, I really enjoyed this
