ya i don't know who burned down the house, i forgot all bout that actually.

in regards to the twin thing, nothing ever mentioned really, and it never made sense to me cuz of how the yeerks are born. didn't ax say the yeerks are born by fission? (or was it visser 1 in Visser?) and so if the 3 yeerks come together and split up to make a buncha yeerk babies, don't u have yeerks being born simultaneously? in which case, how can u have 1 be better than the other cuz he is older?

Thats the whole point, there's no real difference, to simplify everything the yeerks deem 1 prime and the other on lesser, since they born at the same time. there is no actual difference i think, just what is expected.

Extremely hierarchical and military based...at least from what I gathered in the books. Just a general observation of course, which i'm sure is a pretty obvious one lol.

I often wonder that too. Though I always generally assumed that stuff like arts and philosophy were seen as being foolish or pointless, and didn't help get planets conquered in their eyes. I'm speaking generally, not specifically including the peacenik Yeerks here. Or since they're very militarily based, maybe alot of their philosophy and traditions themselves have to do with or are influenced by that aspect. Hmmm...but the big question is or should be, what was their culture like before becoming an imperial power? Was some aspect of it present culturally even before their encounter with Seerow? Interesting.

well, considering that they were just slugs before, and even Gedd's at best, i don't know how much of a culture they would have. i mean, as much as snails here could have. not to switch the topic but how did they get so smart if they couldn't even communicate with each other? could they communicate?

Hmm...yeah, but i think even before the Andalites came, they still had some hierarchy or social structure...being sentient beings and all despite their slug forms. Actually I think they have some kind of echolocation so they can communicate with each other when they're in the pools. Whether it works outside a liquid environment I'm not quite sure.

I honestly don't think there'd be too much in the way of natural predators...at least it doesn't seem that way from the books (talking about the pools on the homeworld of course). But yeah, i'm sure there are plenty of microbes and other microscopic creatures that also dwell in the pools besides the Yeerks themselves of course.

I think it does. I think in #29, Cassie used that echolocation to find Mr. Tidwell's ear, and she wasn't in a liquid when she morphed.
