EDIT: irrelevant bits removed because Jess beat me to it.

In terms of mistakes, it's much easier to just leave them in and edit them out in post-processing than it is to stop a recording, back up, and start again. So just ignore lines with mistakes as long as there's a good take somewhere in there.

Thought-speech will be done by timers, and I need to go find the effect. It takes some work to do well.

actually I have been sayying I would like to do Elfangor. Personally I would love to have a major part, but perhaps not for 54 books. This would leave me with a part for 5 books and only 3 major books.

I would be willing to give elfangor a try also, I have a mic. I could get a sample done and see if you like it.  But I wouldn’t really want to do the effects for thought speech, but I think someone else already said they were willing to do that.

I'm not sure who is taken so far.. haha, I am aware that tobias has been a challenge. I'd be willing to give anything a try.  But they will have an australian accent.

I don't think we do auditions, really...it's more of a first come first serve kind of thing...that's not to say it's not great to have newcomers showing interest in this!  :)

Seal is correct. We are working on MM1 at this time, and do not need anymore voice actors for this book. We've also set a requirement that anyone new to the project must be willing to help with directing/timing before they're allowed to put in for an acting role.

The fact that there's new blood who wants to work while I've done nothing this whole time kinda bothers me. I really do want to do something here. According to the site, we need Darlene to finish chapter 4. I'm gonna go through all of Duff's stuff that I still have and upload it.

Again. We're not planning on accepting new members as voice actors unless they commit to the project by working on some directing or timing...otherwise we have a constant stream of people wanting to work on the books, but only on the 'fun' part.

It's unfortunate you can't do Darlene. It's about two lines. When I have a quite house, access to the book, and time to do it, I'll try to do it.

You guys say you need directors/timers. I signed up to do whatever (directing/timing) like 2 months ago. Jess, you kept telling me you didn't have time bla bla bla and you still haven't added me! What's the deal?
