<Is it like a big centipede, or like a lizard with blades?> I hollered at her, while looking for whatever made that weird sound.

<Lizard with blades,> I replied, a little too quietly. <Do I attack?>

Montana had just turned down the next tunnel when the floor gave way beneath him. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhha," He screamed as he fell 50 feet down in to the Middle of a large cavern and land with loud thud. Thankfully he was ready and rolled, to lessen the impact, so he wouldn't break any bones.

"Just like the Yeerks to build a pool right over an existing cavern," he fumed, then he realized that the Yeerks might be able to hear him, so he quickly shut up. Now thoroughly lost he decided to head off to find away out.

Monatana had only gone about 20 yards when he heard some thing in his head <What..Centipede..Bl ades>, but couldn't quite understand what was being said. So he headed off at a quicker pace to find out what it was he had heard.

(OCC:What are we beleiving happened to "The One" after they found him drifting in space possesing Ax. Also you guys go ahead and start some action I am kind of stalling for artistic purposes.)

(Well, The One hasn't really been a part of this RPG, so anything goes, really. Please don't claim to BE him, though. That would be a bit Mary-Sue-ish.)

<Well, Leah, the bladed lizard types are called Hork-Bajir. They are generally very dangerous as Controllers, but their non-Controller personalities are usually very peaceful. They have terrible night-vision, but their hearing and sense of smell are excellent. I suggest that you ask him first what he is doing here. If the answer sounds even remotely intelligent, he's a Controller. Maybe wait until we get there to cover you, since they don't usually travel alone, but it's your call. Be careful.>

(Must go offline again for awhile. Bye.)

OCC: No I was thinking about a major villan that we could put in and here was one that already existed in the Animorphs universe, but if you guys have another I dea that would be great.

I followed my nose, trying to find out where the cave was. I caught the scent of it.

<Wait, WHAT!? a Hork-Bajir!? Leah, don't attack until I get there, please. Just... stay hidden if possible. Morph into your polar bear morph, and if it attacks, STAY AWAY FROM THE BLADES! I'll be there soon.> I said, starting to run.

I heard Edward's frantic thought-speak in my head.

<I'm going to find out whether he's a Controller or not, first. That shouldn't be too hard, I replied.

<What are you doing here?> I demanded. The Hork-Bajir did not speak. He did, however, reach down and pull a small dracon beam from a weapon holster.

<He is definitely a Controller.>

Suddenly, three more stepped out of the tunnel behind him.

<He has friends.>

<Wow... that was brilliant.> I commented, sarcastically. I saw the Big Cave in front of me, and I started running. (sorry this was a quick one)

I could hear Edward getting closer. Apparently, the Hork-Bajir did too. One of them split off from the small group and began to walk toward the source of the noise. <Edward, watch out. They're coming.>

Montana:

The Hork-Bajir were just standing there doing nothing. Montana though, "Come on, do some thing, some of you break off, Then I'll come and take care of the other......"
Tssewww. Montana quickly ducked around the corner of the opening to escape the firing, and then her realized they weren't firing at him. Peeking around the corner he to see what was going on, he saw the Hork-Bajir concentrating their fire at the first bend on the other tunnel.

(OCC: I am going to go and take the story so far and put it together in a single file and annotate who is speaking at what time. If any one wants to modify something of theirs go back and do it soon)

(what do you mean, put it in a single file?  ???)

I emerged from the tunnel, glaring at the Hork-Bajir. <Ok, thanks for the warning.> I told Leah. Yeesh... you go for an art history degree, and look what you end up doing. I thought to myself, without humour, as I prepared to attack.

(OCC: I mean taking it and putting it together so you can read it straight through with out having to have all the extra space in between like it is on here.)

Montana:
As Montana was peering out from around the corner he glimpsed  what looked to be a Wolf that said, "Ok, thanks for the warning" but it was in his head and was similar to what he had heard before.

(Edit: Sorry I went back to check and I thought he said he was going polar bear but I was just getting it al mixxed up in my head anyway.)

((Um.... the polar bear is Leah... Edward is the wolf))

(You can't tell where thought-speak comes from. Actually, the thing with The One would be VERY convenient, considering the plot-twist that I was setting up...it's a Helluva lot easier than dragging the Ellimist into this, and it gives more possibilities. Coolish. Let's just say that, after this fight, things are going to get interesting...IF YOU SURVIVE. ;))

<Okay, I can't find whatever it was. I'm heading back to you guys to help. Remember: if they can hear you, they don't NEED to see you. Fight quietly!>

I crept slowly up to the entrance to The Big One, and I could see a large white form in the distance. Leah.

<I'm across from you, behind the Hork-Bajir. If you distract them, I can take down one from behind.>

Montana:

Montana Looked over to his left, to see if he could see if there was ladge or something he could climb on to, when he saw a cougar lurking in the entrance to one of the other tunnels to his side.
