I have, on occasion, sat in the middle of the food court and yelled "Cinnabunz! Bun-zuh, bunzzz!" while scarfing down dozens of said baked treat.

I call my friends by the Animorphs names.
There's a method to my madness, I just haven't figured it out yet.

On a bus ride home I was reading 19, and the people surrounding me started to ridicule animorphs, it got around the bus fast.
(The only kid I know that's my age, reads animorphs, and lives in my town is a jerky kid named jason, I hate him so much.)

I think I have called almost everyone of my friends by an Animorphs name.
There's a method to my madness, I just haven't figured it out yet.

w/e my friend comes over i usually try to casually hide all my books and stuff. The other day the entire coffee table was just covered in papers about my fic so i tried to kinda scoop em away with some school stuff lol
not that i hide my fandom, but that level of obsession is scary lol

Probably telling my brother I tried to "aquire" our dog.
"I always considered myself a loner. I mean, not like a poor-me, Byron-esque, I-should-have-broughta-swimming-buddy loner. I mean the sort of person who doesn’t feel too upset about the prospect of a weekend spent seeing no one, and reading good books on the couch. It wasn’t like I was a people hater or anything. I enjoyed activities and the company of friends. But they were a side dish. I always thought I would also be happy without them."

ooh, you're lucky, Wild.  I'm sure I've let it slip "Oh, like that really awesome book series Animorphs?"  ... I swear crickets just appear out of nowhere if I mention that around here... XD

Dude, I would always try to "acquire" animals as well! :D Okay, not seriously, but it would cross my mind whenever I was touching/petting animals (like a neighbors' dog, my pet bird, a screech owl at the fair as this thing where you paid money and would then get your pick holding the animal--I was so excited and saved up my money so I could get my picture with a red-tailed hawk (which I of course totally geeked out about whenever I saw it--Tobias!) the following year, but noooo they stopped allowing it then!), and I would pretend to do so....:p I always loved to imagine turning into animals!

I can't think of any embarassing encounters exactly except reading the books themselves sometimes I guess, since not everyone is enlightened and realizes they're awesome books....
"Cassie is quieter than Rachel, more peaceful, like she always understands everything on some different, more mystical level.  I guess you could say I kind of like Cassie......"
