Or the brain discharges all its potential energy thus electrocuting the yeerk.

Reading this topic, another question came to mind,
Early in the series some of the Anirmorphs identified an 'unidentifiable smell' in humans we knew were Controllers. I think Jake/Homer, wasn't aware of it, but picked something up in his brother. And Rachel/Fluffer Mc.Kitty caught something in Chapman's scent. I like to think that it was the scent of the Yeerk Pool complex. Most of their morphs had pretty acute olfactory. Cassie ceratinly DEFINATELY could have picked up the enemy's scent with her wolf morph.
Now, could these animals' senses not have been further used to identify Controllers? Like, do a morph to safely tick or cross their parents and close ones? Instead of stalking them every 3 days??

Really good point.  You couldn't really use a wolf but a dog/cat would have worked.

Of course wandering up to random people (not that you're suggesting this) could be dangerous as the Yeerks were obviously aware of morphing tech. and might decide to kill any suspicious animals...

But still, much more could have been done with this point.
"Well, that idea might make a stupid idea feel better about itself."
"His goat killed you?"
"I love you shovel."
"Your conscience calls you on the telephone?"

If a human drinks alcohol, the alcohol itself isn't going to the human's brain, so it's not going to kill the Yeerk unless the human totally binges and dies of alcohol poisoning or something...but if you dunk a Yeerk in isopropyl alcohol, or hell, even a beer?  I don't know...it would probably absorb pretty quickly, and either kill it, or make it very drunk.  Isopropyl would probably kill it more than a beer, I'd imagine x3  I toyed with the idea of naturally occurring alcohol (yeast/fermentation plus fallen fruit or dead things in Yeerk pool water somewhere, stagnant?) on the Yeerk homeworld...because I think waaaaaay too much about this crap x3

If the alcohol doesn't go to the brain, then why do people get all weird when they drink a lot?
