Jax does poetry (sorta)

Seeing/Believing

Why do I see what other's don't?
Or is it that I see what other's won't?
An object races across the sky,
Yet only my eyes catch it,
The temperature drops around the room,
Yet only my skin feels it,
the smell of a thousand flowers being tended by the fairies,
Yet only my nose detects it,
Is it my mind playing tricks on me?
Or is it the others who refuse to see?

Something

I've lost my way,
Of that I am certain,
For the night takes the day,
as a as a window with drawn curtains,
Deep in the night,
I see creatures creeping,
Deep in my heart,
I know I'm not sleeping,
Out there among those wild trees,
Lives more then just possums and birds and bees,
Something out there is quite more fearsome than these,
How can I walk though the woods fancy free?
The answer is simple,
That something is me.

The Walkaway Girl

I am what I am,
Not more or less.
You can put me in a box,
I'll break it.
You can Put me on a pedestal
I will fall.
You can burn a number in my skin,
I will wash it away.
You can make me what you want to see,
I'll make you look away.
Because I am what I am,
No matter what.
I'll do what I do,
No matter what.
And if you try to change me?
Well, I'll just walk away...

I especially like the last one (Walkaway Girl). It is very well-written, and it defines most clearly your opinion of yourself and your feelings toward how the world views you as a person.
 ;D
The universe is, instant by instant, re-created anew. There is, in truth, no Past, only a memory of the Past. Blink your eyes, and the world you see next did not exist when you closed them. The only appropriate state of the mind is surprise. The only appropriate state of the heart is joy. The sky you see now, you have never seen before. The perfect moment is now. Be glad of it.

Jax/Jayne

Everyone has a Motive
I use Lies to tell the Truth/I use the Truth to find Lies

Everyone has a Destiny
I write the words/I read the clues

Everyone has Doubts
Am I me?/Am I real?

Everyone has a Voice

Wally Wendell Welcomes You!

Welcome to my Wild World!
I hope you stay awhile!
Take the coasters for a whirl,
Just hold tight child!

Pay no mind to the Walking Blight,
They'll leave you be I'm sure.
But you may find that they bit,
Remember there's no cure.

So come enjoy my Wild World,
I'm sure you'll have a time!
Just watch your back,
And you'll be fine!
