Ax needs to be rescued, p-e-r-i-o-d!
But what would Cassie be doing on Earth? And what of ALL the now morph-capable humans, Hork-Bajir and Taxxon nothlits. And there is also the Chee and all these other miscelleneous species in the Animorphs philosophy. Just thinking K.A. left so much sort of open and still at play that it would be hard to orchestrate a loyal authentic follow up.

Maybe I want to know about how the Arn got to the development of the Hork Bajir. Theres a lot there to think about, for those with open minds.
Until then we fight.

They needed the Hork-Bajir to tend to their trees. That's it. That's all we need to know.

It took me a while but I finally figured out a really great idea for the last book. At first I was just really angry about Rachel so I went through looking for a loophole in which it wouldn't interfere with the game (Ellimist vs Crayak) and there it was. Plain as day! I'm not telling though. It is soooo perfect. It includes everyone but Cassie being dead and The One trying to take over the universe. The beginning is really sad but It's getting better.

Just put your mind to work here.

Cassie and Tobias are on Earth, alive.
Jake, Marco, and Rachel are dead.
Ax is absorbed by the One and is being used to take over the galaxy.
The galaxy NEEDS the original Animorphs because the newbies are not doing a good enough job, they all are dead.
So only Cassie and Tobias are alive and well.
They need thier friend's help but they are dead. hmmm

I will not tell anyone until I have posted the Fanfic!

I used to be V, before that I was Tobiasfan21. Then I disappeared for several months after being kidnapped by the Twilight series. Don't make me talk about it, it was horrible. Now, I'm V2113.

I'm pretty sure you're gonna use Cassie's sub-temprary groundness to revive Rachel and the others

No way! That was sooo last Megamorphs. Read Megamorphs #5 The End to find out. Despite it's dark sounding name it's actually pretty nice and funny, compared to some of the other Fanfics anyway (no offence some of the other fanfics). It will get a little darker later on and it won't be all happy happy joy joy. it's really good so far. I've got three chapters up.

I always thought that KA was going to have the Free HB and Anis save the HB homeworld after they saved Earth. I thought this because I thought saving Jara and Ket was foreshadowing a continuation after the first series ends.

Though she didn't do that. In fact, she didn't even have Toby take her group to the homeworld to help the rebels that were already there fighting. Weird.

Wow....i love this topic because there are a bunch of ways you can take it.

 Basically four.

1. continuation of the series

2. Another megamorphs

3. another Chronicles.

4. another series that occurs at the same time as the original Animorphs. Like another group of kids (maybe they wouldn't have morphing power, maybe something else) somewhere else, like the east Coast, Europe, or...Australia! haha.

There are simply so many ways you can take the series because there are so many aspects we don't know yet about each alien race.

Like someone said we can have a series that deals with the relationships of Humans with Andalites. It could show them picking off the remaining Yeerk resistences as well as the trials of the members of the Council of Thirteen. Yes, realistically, it won't all be happy and smooth. In fact, I can see the remaining Yeerks play off the power vacuum by pitching the Andalites against the humans a la "Sum of All Fears" style. The Yeerks would just be working for the One...or the Kelbrids. Cassie staying on EArth would be all right because she could be the Human viewpoint of things back on Earth. The dangerous thing with this plot is that it could quickly turn into another "Ender's Game" or "Stargate" like series. I guess what made the Animorphs series so awesome was it's different setting, the secrecy, the kids, the smaller scale invasion.

The other thing is this. We don't know that much about the One at all. Ax probably really isn't dead, and while there isn't a loophole, there are a lot of things we don't know about the One. Perhaps his Assimilation of races is not how we understand it to be. Of course....we don't really know anything about the Kelbrids either. We could kill all the Animorphs except Cassie and Tobias and start with something new?

I would like to see a Pemalite Chronicles dealing with Crayak.

or...the Gedd Chronicles! hAHAHAHA.

Hmmm. Gedd Chronicles. Hmmm. I may be having almost fifty books going on at once but hey, what's wrong with one more?

It'd be interesting if for some reason they had to go to another country to fight the Yeerks and discovered a group just like them, they distrust each other at first but eventually unite for a battle. :)
This is a very interesting story idea. So much potential in terms of the character dynamics, styles, combat morphs... But it would have to be tied in to the Anis to make it more interesting. It shouldn't be done for the sake of just having it there, me thinks.

A book, maybe a Chronicles, dedicated to The Sharing, would be cool. Think of all the characters one could develop in that + the potential to tie a few loose ends: Tom, the Chapmans, Taylor, Karen, even The Chee. Not to mention their respective Yeerks.

Let's say that Animorphs is still around and we haven't reached the end. What ideas do you have for any other books?

I really liked some of the TV show episode ideas. Like the gang trying to stop a videotape of an Animorph morphing on a TV show due to Marco's carelessness and the guy with the tape is a geek with a crush on Rachel. Why didn't Applegate think of this? Guessing because The Journey had a somewhat similar idea with Marco trying to retrieve a photo camera.

Another idea from the TV episodes that could have led to a really interesting story arc in the books is Tobias discovering an underground resistnace movement of former controllers. But I guess Applegate's Yeerk Peace Movement somewhat took care of that.

A few more Chronicle books? I wish Applegate had written The Taxxon Chronicles and also a The Pemalite Chronicles so I could get to know Erek King better.

How about a Megamorphs book not unlike Elfangor's Secret where as a dangerous game by the Ellimist and Crayak, each Animorph is thrown into a different time period and must survive either morph-capable or morph-incapable? Jake is thrown into the battle of Gettysburg, Rachel in late 17th century Salem, Marco in the far future, Tobias in revolutionary America and Cassie in hundred years war-torn France. And they could only return after accomplishing some task. I'd like to have seen this tried because we know that the Animorphs make a great team but not how tough are they as individuals.

Or maybe we have reached the end and this is the continuation of the series. Any ideas?

Maybe a new series where we see Jake, Marco and Ax patroling the galaxy, battling any new nemesis that threatens sentient life as peace keepers after a joint Andalite-Human union.

This assumes that Jake et al survived ramming the Blade ship and de-Borgified Ax.
