I always pronounced it dray-kon even before the whole official thing. That's just the way it looks to me.

hmm... I can't remember too well, but I think I used to say drah-con, but for some reason or other, I later changed to dray-con... I don't even know why. I don't remember reading any official pronunciation...

From the Animorphs Alliance Secret Handbook (hehe) its DRAY-kon
The what?

I always pronounced it "drah-kun." I think they did mention it at some point in the TV show. Every time I talk about Animorhs and mention Dracon beams, my non-Animorph fan friend is always like "you mean those flashlights?"

Its this little handbook that has info on all the animorphs, a glossary of technology, pronunciation of the made up words, crosswords, fill in the blanks, word scrambles, and a flip book. Yea, pretty sweet

It comes with this fan club thing you could subscribe to when the books first came out that got you that, some fan club id card, book ends, bookmarks, i forget what else

looking back on it, i think i alternated. i pronounced it 'drah-con' in my head but said 'dray-con' aloud.

dra-kon  like dragon, which incidently is the word i used for reference for how to pronounce.  then again, i also always pronounce tobias as tobee-as, which actually seemed to be supported with Toby, wouldnt it have been Tobai if it was toe-bye-as?

I used to pronounce it drah-kun, but I'll start calling it dray-con if that's 'correct'. On a similar note, I used to pronounce Tobias toe-bee-us, but later changed to toe-bye-us when I found out it was correct.

Also, how do you pronounce Aximili? Ax-ih-mil-ee, Ax-zim-ih-lie or something else? What's the official pronunciation?

What does it mean to be free?

yea i always pronounced aximili the first way but I dont know the "official" pronunciation

That animorphs alliance book has a few other pronunciations for reference:
Andalite (AND-a-light)
aristh (R-iss-the)
Chee (CHAY)
Dracon Beam (DRAY-kon BEEM)
Ellimists (EEL-lim-ists)
estreen (ES-treen)
Hork-Bajir (HORK-buh-JEER)
Kandrona (Kan-DRO-nuh)
Skrit Na (SCREET-nah)
Taxxon (TAX-on)
Varnax (VAHR-nacks)
Veleek (veh-LEEK)
Visser (VIH-sir)

Its weird that they say EllimistS and the definition is "A nearly omnipotent race about which little is known. Can travel across space and time-but have no known form or natural body." So maybe they hadn't fully conceptualized the ellimist's backstory yet or maybe KA just didnt work very closely with whoever made the handbook.
