Projecting emotions through thoughtspeach

I've started reading a lot more fanfics about animorphs then usual, and i noticed something coming back in a lot of different fics : the idea that visser three can project his "aura" through thoughtspeach

but i dont remember this being apart of the actual canon

is it a headcanon or do i just not remember well the series ?

(also does that mean that yeerks or andalites can aurafarm as they wish ??)

I don't think it was ever a thing in the books. Thoughtspeak communicated concepts in a universally understood way, but not project emotions or vibes.
