TOBIAS

I lunged at the Hork Bajirr's throat.
<Die!> I screamed as I whirled my massive body around into a whole wall of Taxxons.
I charged off like a rocket and then-WHAM!
I saw fireworks.
A Hork Bajirr struck me in the head like a cement block.
The bull was fast, but too big to do anything, I had to demorph. Too bad I couldn't.
"Get the nothlit!" cried a Taxxon and I suddenly felt something inside of me snap.
<Don't ever call me a NOTHLIT!> next thing I knew I was back in bird morph and I didn't care how. That was a morph I knew my way around.
"TSSSSSER!" I lunged at a Taxxon and totally mutilated him. I flew down the corridor and while I was flying I was going into Hork Bajirr morph. My bones were snapping and crunching and grinding and growing.
I picked up a stray Dracon Beam. TSEER! TSEER! I blasted at the ceiling. The whole complex was going down.
I slammed through a piece of concrete and was falling.
Soon, I was flying. I got back about 100 feet to see the whole building going down. I flew all the way to the woods only to see it all totally destroyed by fire. The whole forest...burned down...I would've cried.
Ok, I cried a little but come on, that was my home. I then flew to see about sixty Hork Bajirr, Taxxons, and Human Controllers fighting something. No, some people.

MARCO

What was going on? A Yeerkageddon! That's what. After coming back from the zoo, all of us with alot of battle ready morphs (me, I got the biggest baddest morphs I could find, anaconda, tasmanian devil, grizzly, tiger, and crocodile) Which, was just in time, becasue as soon as we got back, there was a whoel Yeerk Army waiting for us.
 Taxxons, Hork Bajirr, and who was leading them? Well ask our one mistake.
 How David was back and got his morphnig powers I'll never know, all I did know, was we were dead. No answer. Just dead.
 Rachel however had a different strategy.
 "We fight," she said. "We fight 'till teh end, to make sure that the Yeerks leave our families and friends alone."
 "Rachel, i don't think you can do that," David said.
 "Why?"
 "Becasue your families are already one of us."
 "No!" Rachel said as our families revealed themselves from behind the wall of Hork Bajirr.
 "Yes," said my Dad. "And, we have something special to share with you." Then he stopped as he took on the morph of a Taxxon. Soon, there were more Taxxon and Hork Bajirr than ever.
 "Well, Well, Well," said David. "You want a fight? You got it.."

CASSIE

 We were fighting and losing. The forest was covered in flames by the endless Dracon beams being fired. All my fear was gone for once, the urge to kill was welling up inside me, I felt like a part of me had died.
 Something was happening to the universe, and something told me, if we didn't stop the Yeerks from activating the weapon, the whole universe was at stake. I was in a morph completely new to me. A Grizzly. I felt the raw surge of power that Rachel felt and to be honest, I didn't know how to control it.
 Rachel dealt with this kind of power every day, but me, I was always used to be weak and caring, but for once...all those feelings, were out the window. I let out a scream of rage and decapitated the first Hork Bajirr I saw. Marco, was in rhinoceros morph, and Rachel was elephant. We may've have been the biggest killer's alive, but, we weren't any match for David, an army of Hork Bajirr and Taxxons and our parents all with the morphing power. <David, you always were a coward!> I cried lunging for him.
 <oh,> he said in his stupid lion morph. <Cassie, Cassie's got a temper temper.>
 <Shut up!> I roared and smacked him across the face, a piece of bloody skin and bone hit the ground.
 <Big mistake,> he growled and then became a tan blur of evil and wrath. He tackled me to the ground.
 <Hey David get off of her!> Rachel screamed getting ready to stomp on his little head. He held me there, not killing, no...waiting.
 Waiting for what?
 Then it hit me.
 Literally.
 He was trying to kill me.
 And using Rachel to do it.
 <Rachel stop!> I screamed as he rolled away as the elephant foot crushed my rib cage.
 <AARGH!> I felt all the blood rush from my head.
 <Cassie!>

RACHEL

 I was literally morphing and crying at the same time.
 "Cassie," I managed to say. "Wake up....wake up."
 <I can't....feel my...>
 "Cassie, demorph, I.." WHAM!
 My eyes exploded into fireworks. David.
 He took a cheap shot. The little twerp. My face was half skin, half bone and torn muscle. I couldn't feel anything. I began to morph into the grizzly, then I reversed the morph.
 "David, what are you planning?"
 "Simple, Rachel dear," he said demorphing. "Stalling."
 "Stalling," I began. "Stalling for what?" That's when they all looked up. I did too, to see a big ball of fire about the size of a quarter heading towards Earth.
"What is that?"
 "You really think we didn't know your friend Jake snuck aboard the ship and is probably among the Hork Bajirr. We anticipated all of your moves, now the whole world will suffer!"
 "Why David?" I asked watching Cassie die. "Why are you doing this?"
 "Revenge!" he screamed grabbing me by the throat. "This was all about revenge!"
 "So this was all a trick?!" I managed to say.
 David made a crooked little smile and nodded. 
 "So, none of this is real?"
 "Oh, it's real." He said. "It's definitely real, and this time, the stupid Animorphs aren't gonna win, I am. You should've never tried to capture me!"
 "You were a threat," Marco said fully demorphed only to be grabbed by a Taxxon.
 "No, I was one of your betters! I should've been leader! Me! Me! Not you guys! ME."
 "David, you think the Yeerks are really helping you?" I asked. "Their using you, to get to us!"
 "I know, but what they don't know is, I poisoned the Yeerk Pool, all the Yeerks will wither and die in a matter of hours killling their hosts."
 "David......" I began. Cassie was dying, Marco and I were gonna get killed, Jake and Ax were walking into a trap and Tobias was dead. It was all over.
 "TSEEER!"
 Or was it.
 And with Cassie's final breath she said, <Tobias!>

AX

 <Prince Jake,> I whispered. <It is 3 minutes until the two hour limit, you must demorph.>
 <Not until we hit your homeworld,> Prince Jake said. <I can make it.>
 <But Prince Jake....>
 <Ax I mean it.>
 <Ok,> I stared straight forward into the vile face of Visser Three.
 <Ok,> he said. <We are almost here, when we do, I expected your army to be there.> He looked Prince Jake's way. <We have the AMR fully functional, we must balst every single Hork Bajirr to make sure, he is not aboard.>
 <Ax, time?>
 <54 seconds Prince Jake.>
 <Great.> I felt the ship lurched forward and hit the ground. We were boarded out and Prince Jake was getting closer to the ray and closer to both of our dooms.

JAKE

 Ok, we had two problems:
1) I was going to be trapped in morph and
2) Even if I did get zapped out of morph, I'd have no time to go tiger.
 I got closer to the ray. <Time?>
 <13 seconds,> Ax said scared.
 <That's it, Ax cover me!> I then demorphed as fast as I could. I was running and doing it at the same time.
 <It's the human! Get him!> About a million Dracon Beams were fired my way. I ran into this weird forest that seemed to be mostly mist and a few trees. I was pumped on adrenaline. I was breathing so hard I would have a heart attack if I didn't stop soon. I calmed myself and then-WHAM!
 An andalite was on top of me crushing my insides.
 "AAAAAAAH!" I cried.
 <Yeerk!> he cried. I didn't think, I grabbed his hoof and acquired him. He began to go limp. <Did you just...>
 "Acquire you? Yeah, I did!" I screamed morphing to tiger the whole time. I then tackled him to the ground.
 <You must be the ones in the legend,> he began. <I am Ket Yipthrocktar. An andalite warrior, I study the legends of this world, adn the legneds has that four human youths with the power and one andalite will save our world, and all the others I...>
 <Four?> I asked. <There's five of us.>
 <Yes, that is also written in the legend, one of you will not make it through this mission, in order to win you must take a life and to take a life you msut give a life.>
 I instantly felt full of dread.
 <I need my friends,> I began as he stood up.
 <Come with me,> we galloped farther into the forest until I saw a small pond. He picked up dirt and threw it into the air. <Say who you wish to find.>
 <Ok,> I said. <Cassie, Rachel, Tobias, Marco.>
 The, in the pool was a reflection of Rachel, Tobias and Marco.
 <Where's Cassie?>
 <THe Pond of Forever only reveals alive people, are you sure this is your army?>  I couldn't focus, I just kept dwelling on what he said. Alive people. That had to mean then...
 <Now what?> I asked fighting back tears.
 <Now, just reach out and touch," he said. I began to demorph and reached into the pond. After a moment my hand touched the water. A moment later, something touched my hand.

TOBIAS

 I smacked into David's small head and knocked him out. <That's for trying to kill me!> Rachel ran up to hug me. I pushed her away.
 <What's going on?> that's when the whole universe ripped apart.


MARCO
 We were all swimming in a pond, I felt myself resurface to see Jake in tears.
 "Jake!" I cried running to hug him and the second I did, he punched me. Hard.
 "Jake?!" asked Rachel as Jake gave us his shut-up-and-listen-to-my-speech-look.
 "Cassie is dead, we are millions of miles from Earth, a super weapon is about to go off..."
 "A comet's about to hit Earth and eradicate it," I added as Jake lunged for my throat.
 "Marco SHUT up!" he growled. "We are not friends anymore people ok? We are in a war, you don't need friends in a war you need soldiers,we are in an endless battle to save the Earth. There are no more secrets now, there is nothing we don't know and there are no more surprises ok? It's all out in the open, right now, this isn't about getting out alive." He stopped.
 "It's whether we win or lose."

RACHEL

 We were all in battle morphs except for Tobias who was in andalite morph. I could feel the raw adrenaline welling up inside of me. <Ok,> Jake said. <This is it, if we don't beat the Visser there...>
 <Don't say that,> Marco said.
 <We're going to win,> I said. <Or die trying.>
 <Right," Tobias added as the five of us raced into the army of Hork Bajirr.
 <As I anticipated!> the Visser cried as all of the Hork Bajirr attacked us. I heaved myslef into the crowd as BAM!
 Something stuck me, it was Ket.
 <Ket...> I began as he was starting to develop a wicked smile.
 <Nope,> he slowly began to emerge into...into...

DAVID
 Hi, my name is David. And I have done horrible things. I was amped up on pure destruction and rage. Rachel's scared bear face told me I was doing good.
 "Well, I must admit, you all did as I predicted, you really think Jake acquired me? He was wrong." That's when a whole fleet of Hork Bajirr and Taxxons came out of the bushes and trees. There were about a million Hork Bajirr all around.
 "We anticipated you'd put a tracking device in the Efiscal Device, and anticipated you'd all be here," I got as close to her face as possible. "We tracked your every move, and the prophecy I told Jake about?! It's all a bunch of hooey. I will get my revenge," I then stood up and pulled out my Dracon beam. I aimed it straight at Rachel's head turned towards Marco and fired.
TSEEER!

JAKE

 <NO!> I screamed. Marco hit the ground like a sack of potatos. <Marco DEMORPH! NOW!...Marco? Marco!>
 <Jake....do me a favor....>
 <Anything!>
 <Look out....> I whirled around as a lion tackeld me to the ground and began to slash and bite and maul my face. I felt part of my body suddenly burned by a Darcon Beam. I flipped around and bite David's throat.
 <AACK!>
 <Surrender or I'll kill him!> I screamed. All eyes went on me. Then, the Visser grabbed Tobias, or Ax, I wasn't sure and held a Dracon Beam to his head.
 <Prince Jake....> it was Ax.
 <No, you surrender or your friend dies or gets trapped in morph!> I knew now. He thougth Ax was Tobias. I looked to my left to see Tobias completely unoticed, Rachel was nowhere to be found.
 <Tobias, morph,> I said.
 <Ok,> he said beginning to demorph.
 <If this plan worked, we'd have an aerial ace, if it didn't.....
 Ax would die, Tobais would be next, and Rachel wouldn't be too far behind.

RACHEL
 
I was far off into the woods runnig through my mind on what morphs I had that could kill them all.
Elephant? No, too slow.
Grizzly? No, too small.
Hork Bajirr? No, that migth get the otehrs killed too. I had no other good morphs that came to mind.
I then realized, David. When I threw him to the ground...I wondered.
I foucused and the changes began.

AX
 We were in the biggest trouble ever, the super weapon in the Yeerks grasp, two of my friedns dead and another on the way, and we were out of options.
 <Surrender!> said the Visser evilly. Prince Jake clamped harder on David's neck.
 <Never!> Jake cried as Tobias came swooping in.
 <What?! THe nothlit! I thought...>
 <You thought wrong!> cried Tobias as TSEER! A Dracon Beam went stragith through his tiny head.
 <AAAAAAARG!> he screamed dying and falling.
 <TOBIAS!> I whirled around to see Visser Three demorphing. To..to...David! I whirled back to see the lion Jake had corned demorphnig to Visser Three. The Visser's tail was arched. I jumped.
 WHISH!

JAKE
 Ax, was dead. Tobais, was dead, Cassie, and Marco, all dead. It was just me and my cousin who had gone AWOL. It was me vs, Visser Three, about a thousand Hork Bajirr, and David. Then, a thought occured to me. Were teh Hork Bajirr really there? I'd only seen like one or two moved, but was it like back in the ballroom, a hologram? Was it? I had to know. I began to trot for David. If I was right, I could get to the Visser easily, if I was wrong, then Rachel would be the only one left

JAKE

 POOMP!
 I hit David hard, the real David. The Hork Bajirr stayed still excpet fro a few that came running out. Me vs two Hork Bajirr, the Visser and David. I could take them, David knocked me off and began to morph a lion, but I jumped onto his vulernrable body as the Visser pulled me off. I bti the Visser in the arm adn he turned around. I lunged and knocked him into David. I demorphed and then remorphed to rhinoderous. Before I was even finished I rammed into the Visser until I hit a tree. His blood ran down my head. I turned around and rammed into the Hork Bajirr as the hologram was taken down to reveal a huge lightbulb type thing in the distance.
 <The weapon> David got my message, he was already halfway to lion eagle before I could finish. I took off, rhino's are pretty fast when they want to be. Cassie's words ran in my head. THe universe? In danger. True or not, I had to beat him there. Just me and him.
TSEER!
I hit the ground as everything went black. I was able to see a Taxxon demorphing to Tom.
Tom killed me.
RWOOOOOOR!
And I knew Rachel would have to kill him.

RACHEL
 
 I was the cheetah. I was as fast as David, but he had a head start. I was gonig to stop him, he killed all of my friends. Cassie, Marco, Tobias, Ax, Jake...If I didn't win theird deaths would've been for nothing. Tom and my family army discuised as Taxxons were gonna kill me if I didn't go faster.
TSEER!
TSEER! I sped up. Almost there. David took a dive, I took a morph. I demorhped then remorphed to Grizzly. I was waiting for him at the lightbulb thing. He was back to his lion morph.
 <Well,> he began. <It's you, and me-> I had no time for words, I roared and grabbed him. I began to squeeze him, feeling his tiny spine breaking under the pressure.
 <Rachel...> he began as I squeezed harder. CRAAACK! He fell to a limp and died. I smiled as a Taxxon began to morph.
 <No!> I cried. <NO!>
 "Hello, did you think that was me?" he smield wickedly. "That was Jordan."
 I stared at the now demorphed lion. It was her!
 I stared into David's eyes as he began to punch in a code.
 The whole sky began to explode and the universe ripped apart.
 "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

 DAVID
 
 I woke up. I was in a cell. The door slammed shut. Outside of the bars stood Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Cassie, Marco and Ax. "How?" I asked.
 "You think you manipulated us?" they cackeld. "We knew you'd do that, all those killings?" Jake stopped. "Ellimist owed us a favor."
 "And the comet full of Yeerks affected by Hemrash?" Cassie asked. "We sent a bug fighter into it and destroyed it!"
 The five of them stood there all with angry looks on their faces. "It's over," Jake said. "This time we're not letting you become a nothlit just for Ellimist to take pity on you and give you the power back, this time..." Rachel gave me an evil look she pulled a lever as the room began to get smaller. I tried to morph only to be electrocuted.
 "No morphing," Marco said. "No where to run."
 Then everything went dark.

JAKE
 
 Well, the world was safe again, Ellimist wiped everyones memory, so we could still be safe, but unfortunately brought back teh Visser. We could handle him. It was time now to talk to Cassie.
 "Hi."
 "Oh, hi Jake."
 "Cassie, you were right, if we're gonna be together."
 "Jake wait."
 "What?"
 "I...don't think we should be together..."
 "What?!"
 "When you died..."
 "I didn't."
 "Well, when you supposedly died, I felt...like all my dreams were crushed."
 "But..." she kissed me.
 "I love you, but, we can't be togehter."
 I looked at the ground and kissed her back.
 "Ok..and Cassie."
 "Yes?"
 "Love you too."
