If an Animorph is injured or poisoned, could he/she do just a partial demorph to heal the injury or poison, then remorph to continue the battle? I ask because in the last book (The Beginning), [spoiler]Rachel in grizzly morph gets poisoned by Tom the cobra, She therefore has to demorph to get rid of the poison. Before she can remorph, a Yeerk polar bear kills her with a single swipe! If she could have gotten rid of the poison by just doing a partial demorph, she might have survived, as she would have still had some of her bear strength! [/spoiler]
