Nuclear Explosion In Megamorphs 2

A nuclear submarine explodes a few miles off the coast.  Why doesn't it generate a tsunami that would swamp the entire town?

I think it might of been the Ellimist who stopped the mass distruction of the town.

I think it might of been the Ellimist who stopped the mass distruction of the town.

Are you also blaming the Elimist for setting up the explosion so as to send the Animorphs back in time 65 million years to set up the extinction of the dinosaurs?

Maybe The Flash ran up and down the coastline to stop the tsunami in its tracks.
