::) I don't think he meant those are the exact words the animorphs are gonna say. I think he meant that's how the new guy will interpret what the animorphs say.

I didn't say they would use those exact same words, kiddo.

And I don't think that a recruit will necessarily interpret things that way with the right proposal.

Quit trying to play the smat-ass game , Morfowt. Esp. with me. You're just not.. well, smart enough.
This great evil - where's it come from?
How'd it steal into the world?
What seed, what root did it grow from?
Who's doing this?
Who's killing us, robbing us of life and light, mocking us with the sight of what we mighta known?
Does our ruin benefit the earth, aid the grass to grow and the sun to shine?  Is this darkness in you, too?  Have you passed through this night?

I'm pretty sure the Animorphs would use a little more tact, compassion and plain old subtlety if they had started recruiting
it easily gave me the idea that you thought those would be the exact words the animorphs would say.

Before recruiting a new member, I would have the Animorphs morph Leerans to do a mind scan of the new wannabe.  If the wannabe passes the mind scan, out comes the blue box.

I'm pretty sure the Animorphs lost their leeran morphs when they returned to their mosquito bodies in 18.

Even if they did have them, Cassie would have morality issues with reading other peoples minds :P

How so?  It wasn't a Sario Rip situation where everything that happens gets deleted.  I have assumed that the Animorphs' actions in the Leeran theater did not get erased when they got rubber banded back to Earth.  Therefore, their acquisitions of Leeran morphs should not get erased either.

Of course they should have. Just because something went wrong in a scenario they didn't control, doesn't mean the whole idea is bad. Granted they had miraculously all survived that long, but they were also losing the war. They slowed down the Yeerk invasion, but they weren't stopping it.
