I just realized. Andalites aren't mammals

Yes, I recall them sweating and Ax giving their body temp as 93 or 94 degrees F or something like that. I think that would probably earn them a place as a mammal most likely.

They're obviously not mammals because they're not from Earth and weren't know about when people began to classify things as "mammals".  They should be their own genius (I think that's what mammals are, don't kill me if I'm wrong).

Uhh, I don't mean to act like a know it all but my teacher stamped this into my head after I got it wrong on a science test because I hadn't gotten asleep til 2 the night previously (not to mention the fact that I had switched schools the year before and had just finished learning what I found out I wasn't going to be learning until before high school). Anyway, it was that the five KINGDOMS are... oh wait. That's animals. Duh *hits self on head*. I know that Mammals aren't a genus but I just can't think of exactly what they are. I want to say a Phylum... I'll get back to you on that.

when you consider that the Ornithorhynchidae (platypus/echnidas) families are mammals, it's not hard to imagine andalites being them as well.
