(Here's another rant poem. This one's pretty nasty too. XD So....this is what it feels like to be an adult with a disability, but I think it honestly applies to a depressingly huge number of people. Particularly women and girls.

If you just stood up straight you’d be perfect
If you just cleared that voice you’d be perfect
If you smiled more often you’d be perfect
If you had better hair you’d be perfect
If you were just less honest you’d be perfect
If you just hid your Self you’d be perfect
If you looked like a woman you’d be perfect
If you were just normal you’d be perfect
I’d be perfect, you say
I’d get that job, you say
I’d have everything, you say
You’d stop mocking me, you’d say
Well **** you
I’ve been alive two decades
And I’ve changed a few things here and there
I’m strong enough to hold up a mountain of despair
I’m smart enough to write of what’s true and fair
And I’m wise enough to placate you, for sure
You’re still the same little toads that you always were
And the demons still think that I’m perfect.
