It is fun! I have to be careful to not go crazy with the battle/violence thing since it's only the start of the series and Rachel only becomes violent over time...

I hate to suggest this but with me going to be gone in about a week(stupid trip to Ohio) but what if the battle at the Pool was next Tobias gets trapped(for real), he goes sees Jake like in the first book then "disappears" for a day or two(a week for me which is how long I'll be gone,starting next Saturday,March 17th).

Yeah, that's how it happened. Rachel got an elephant, which happened to be a more pettable animal. Cassie and Tobias did squat.

We could create a distraction outside the cages. Or lure the jaguar, I mean there's still this "morphing trance".

That should be the only absences from this thing I'll have, but my circumstances are definitely not set in stone so things could change. I'll try to keep posting info if it turns out I'll be away from the Internet more.

Not ourselves ourselves, but our RAF personas. I would play as a Blazing Angel. Crossover as a green lantern. Yunyun as a faerie. Doomhawk as a.....I have no idea.
If we were to roleplay about our actual lives, the whole thing would be me trying to figure out how to contact yunyun in Canada.

Well we are done getting our battle morphs (unless of course you want to acquire one) and the gardens security is trying to get us, we must regroup at the exit. Jake and Marco are in a golf cart heading there, Sam is already there, Ax and Rachel are in bird morph and I assume also trying to get out.

basically the security guards caught us halfway through acquiring morphs and have chased us away so we're hiding around the entrance? The only idea I can think of is those who have their morphs using them so that guards think that some animals have somehow escaped while the others use the distraction.

Well, it's crossoverfan's RP, so it's all up to him, but is there a chance that instead of David, we might get this original character instead? I don't know, there might be a chance to slip in an original character (though I guess David is quite an important character in the series!)

Is Cassie still going to get captured by the controller? with Ax being on her property, things are likely to go differently. I believe it was implied that the guy died, but I'm not sure if I should have Ax kill him before he makes it to the pool with her.

Appearance:5 foot 8, short blonde hair, bright blue eyes, skin isnt tan but not pale either.
Personality:shy at first but once you get to know him he will be loyal and have your back. will put others before himself
Bio:Shaun is in the same grade as the rest of the group, likes to play video games and talk about superheroes just like Jake and Marco but he also has a side like Tobias and of Rachel. His Tobias side is the shy side of him and the Rachel side is his lust for battle but it isnt what keps him going.

I also don't know if I should have Tobias morphed on purpose or the time actually runs out. I know its ALWAYS implied he forced himself but I'm not sure what I should have it be.

My original character still has to return home for a surprise. So maybe he can see your character in the construction site. The trouble would be getting him morphs.

He could just go by himself and the others wouldn't know what morphs he got so he can surprise them.

Sounds good- maybe he stumbled upon Elfangor after we did and was there just in time to catch a thought-speak explanation of how the cube works. The cube presumably fell as the original Animorphs ran away, maybe bounced and rolled under a pile of rubble or something and after all the Yeerks left, he went after the cube and then used it.

We can play with the characters and see what happens if little things change- like whether Rachel's choice of morph made any difference to her development in my case and how she might get closer to Sam because he approached her first. Hey, gorillaman, it's your character, right? So I think you have the freedom to choose your character- you can choose if he's a Controller that gets freed and joins the Animorphs or if he gets the cube or anything. Don't let us put pressure on you :)

Why not? Can't recall that detail- how exactly does it go down? Is Rachel startled? I'm suddenly seeing potential for an interesting plot not found in the original books (well, interesting to me at least!)

When I saw whoever was playing Jake said they got there before Tobias I had to quickly write mine where Tobias got there before him since in the book Jake gets there after Tobias and Rachel are already there.

I think the rp is going pretty well right now. One of the best currently on all of RAF.
PS: I just remembered that it was Jake that thought it really weird Rachel allowed Tobias on her shoulder. Just pointing it out.

Oh yeah this is getting pretty good. I think I'm doing good as Tobias as I can right now with all the things going on in my life. I've been able to slow down and focus myself on this and its getting there.

BTW guys remember there was two places for the controllers to go,one for willing controllers and one for the others, so I added that into the Yeerk Pool if its ok.

Yeah sorry, me too- had to edit while writing it! It's really in the heat of the action. Good question about Visser 3, I'll wait and see what the answer is. Though Cassie might want to show up soon. Also, is it cool to assume that Sam has also opened at least a few cages so we have a few hosts to try and help escape rather than it just being us and Tom? I guess they end up trapped again so it doesn't matter in the long run, right?

I always imagined David coming back in book 27, working for Crayak as a morpher, but also with some physical enhancements that make him more powerful but also make him look a bit freakish so any chance of a normal life is gone. He would fight the Anis and Yeerks.

I posted. Yesterday was my B-day so I was gone for the whole day. Finally managed to read the final 10 pages this morning and I know it is a bit small but because of the missing Rachel interactions with others, I just had to poke her head in.

Sorry the whole damn rp got me really confused when you skipped over the ending of Book 1 and went to the current plot. Since then its got more screwed up to me. I know I know its not a big deal but I was planning for it to go down like in the book(maybe have some time with Rachel that was never shown/said in the book) then move on.*shrugs.*but hey I'll cope.

David is back, My OC Dru is about to become an animorph, and Jake is at Cassies barn trying to find her

Ok, we just finished book 1 "The invasion". This is an original storyline that covers David returning. Jake is assaulted by David in his house, Marco and Sam go to the rescue. Get their arses kicked but manage to scape and know their rounding everyone up in the barn. Jake is throwing pebbles to Cassie´s room window (I´m assuming she´s there) so she opens and he can explain her what happened. Dru (the new original character) is in the barn with Ax. Sam is explaining all of the above to Rachel. And I don´t have idea were Tobias and Shaun (yet another original character) are.

It wasn't that powerful. first the other anis would have to have certain morphs that are deaf if they're going to be within a hundred yards of Jake if he wants to start screaming. Second, V3 surely has morphs that can defeat a single unarmed howler. It would be an ace in the hole, yes, but the war wouldn't be over a whole lot sooner.

WHhy do the others even need to be there. Jake walks past the gleet biofilter as a human. He hides behind something and goes howler. He howls. Done. Andalites are especially sensetive to the howl.

I don't know about over a hundred. Maybe in a small room, or one with great acustics. I think that's the word. I don't know if you're overestimating the howler, or I'm underestimating, but as great as that scream is it can be muffled by walls and other things.

Well I know it from both experience and Wiki. I had rescued a hummingbird from my back porch about a year ago. It was exhausted and I knew that if it doesn't get back in the air soon, it will die. So I put it in a little box with a washcloth in it to make it comfortable and I opened up our hummingbird feeder. I also got a little syringe to get some of the sugar water from the feeder and put it around the bird's beak. And after a few minutes, it starts eating!
I held him (because it was brightly colored) for about twenty minutes until it felt better and flew off from the little box. It did a little circle around the area I was sitting down to help it and then flew off.

I get busy too so no worries. I'm either going two hours to Atlanta for a medical trial I'm doing for my Crohn's or doing to doctors here locally. And also trying to get rid of stuff because my dad has a transfer order to go to North Dakota. So we got to make the house look nice in every way possible to sale, get our stuff in storage here in MS (where my grandparents are) because we got a trailer we'll be staying in while Dad goes to ND. And we got six months or less than that to do all of this.
