They had different characters singing different songs like Gaara singing about love and Kisame sining the Blue song. FYI, the joke is that his skin color is blue. That's where I got the idea of Claxter singing the I'm Blue song.

Something about a guy singing take me there to a girl, that I invisioned could work for Temrash asking Myitt or Tora to let him join the rebellion. Though the guy in the song is obviously talking about love instead of literally taking him somewhere.

I googled take me there, but it's not the rascal Flatts song I hear. It was more upbeat than that.
