Title: Animorphs: An alternate future
Post by: Yarin on June 08, 2009, 01:37:36 AM
Set in an alternate reality where the Yeerks have won and humanity is enslaved a small band of rebels from different species wage a guerilla on the Yeerk empire.

(I want at least one hork-bajir, and one andalite on the team we can have some human controllers from the Yeerk peace movement but I would like to have as few humans on this team as possible because lets face it human's as a species are weak fighters)

Yarin sat starring out his cell window, the Nyac assassin had been captured by the Yeerks.  Those murdering slugs that had taken the only thing he had ever held dear to him, his freedom. Luckily they could not impede his telepathy he reached out and touched the minds of his cellmates, a few Andalites, several Hork-Bajir a Leeran and some other species that were unfamiliar to him.  He spoke to each of them telepathically and they all decided that it was time for a jailbreak.

Yarin was ready the next day when the Hork-Bajir controller guards went around to deliver the daily morning meal, he activated his camouflage reflex rendering himself virtually invisible.  When the guard came around he was shocked to find the cell empty.  he unlocked it and went inside for a better look, and that's when Yarin struck.  He decloaked and attacked flipping the hork-bajir over and slamming him into a wall.  then he grabbed the guards shoulders with his lower arms and his head with his upper he started into his eyes and implanted an image in his mind so horrifying that Yarin was sure the guard would have to be permanently restrained to prevent him from ripping out his own eyes. Yarin grabbed the keys and unlocked his fellow prisoners.

((Sounds cool! I'm in!))

Name: Raisuli er Reza son of Mieri son of Gueja son of Che'iri, of the House of Ayala-who-is-Ilea and Line of the Jenii since the Unification of the Tribes (and he wants you to say it all, every time. "Raisuli" is acceptable - "Rai-Rai" is not.)
Species: Harau (6' bipedal desert-dwelling big cats with bad attitudes.)
Age: 27
Personality: Raisuli is not taking your nonsense at this time. The son of a respected tribal leader of the Harau, Raisuli's been groomed to warriordom from birth. He is skilled at unarmed combat as well as the use of archaic weaponry such as spears - however, he's unused to all of this advanced alien technology and it's making him nervous. Raisuli is proud and one of those annoying warrior-types - honorable and merciful, but he'll fight to the death, powerful Harau claws locked around the throat of an enemy and piercing it.
Biography: Raisuli was born on the Harau homeworld, a planet they shared with many other sentient species. Their level of technology is primitive by even human standards - spears and shields, and nothing close to resembling a computer or a Dracon beam. He was quite unprepared when the Yeerks landed and marched him on board their ship as a representative of his people, and doubly so when they tried to infest him. A protective flap, meant to block out desert sand in a storm, locked in place over his ear canal, so the Yeerks are preparing to put him in surgery and remove the flaps to see if Harau are good to infest. They captured Raisuli and his hunting imp, who is being held as a curiosity and a species that is also up for infestation as cannon-fodder.
Special Talents: The ability to claw your throat out before you can blink, does that count? He's fast, and faster when he runs four-legged. And his hunting imp is loyal only to him (but can probably be bribed with snacks).

As the jailbreak was beginning, one of the participants-to-be was sitting on the floor of his cell, Harau-style, both legs bent, one resting on the ground. His tail was lashing furiously, but that was the only indication that he was deep in thought about this whole experience. Raisuli er Reza was beginning to doubt that this was all a hallucination caused by eating a plant that had turned. What were these 'Yeerks', why did they want to cut his ear open, and what were those little devices they held that could roast a sand-lizard before it could escape? The second question was easy enough to answer. They were trying to make a slave of him! Raisuli bared his teeth. He was not slaver's bait, and would not consent to mutilation. His ears automatically closed when the slug poked against the entrance of his ear canal, and would not budge - a nice little evolutionary advantage conferred by generations untold as desert-dwellers.

Then he'd heard the voice urging a jailbreak. But it was no voice, for he could not even hear his imp, which he was sure had to be in the cell next to him. Some form of magic. He was beginning to think that about everything here.

Suddenly, the door to his cell opened and he found himself looking at an odd creature. Four arms, not usual. The scent of blood flooded the Harau's nostrils - alien, but still unmistakably blood - and saw that the bladed creature was doing it all to itself, shrieking in horror at something only it could see. "Did you do that?" he asked in Harau, though the language barrier would probably foil any attempt at communication (or so he thought).

"Yes I did" Yarin said in Nyish, he knew the alien wouldn't understand his words but he would get the general meaning once he got back to his ship he could get his translator and have a proper introduction. I am Yarin, we have to get off of this moon" I have a ship we can use but it is far away and the journey will be dangerous will you join me?"

The words were harsh and strange to the Harau, but he figured that the odd creature had understood him well enough. The speaking voice sounded like the one he'd heard in his head - this had to be the jailbreak's organizer. Raisuli turned his head to the side and inclined it sharply, the Haraui gesture for 'yes'. He would follow this four-armed beast...to a point. With both his hand and tail, he indicated the cell next to him and made a key-turning motion. The imp could be in there.

Yarin understood what the alien wanted so he unlocked the cell and a little creature came flying out. After that the three of them went to find the exit only to be stopped by a small throng of hork-bajir, taxxon, and andalite controllers.

Alright, I'm in -- Yarin coerced me. ;) ;D

Here's what I have.

Name: Shadow (not his true name, but he will not tell anybody this)
Species: Chitigri -- creatures able, somewhat like Lucario, to see the Aura of creatures (though untested on alien creatures) and are said to be able to separate the positive chi and negative chi -- but this has never been substantiated.  They hold the belief of a single deity, but a deity that resides in five forms.  They do not name it, just call it the Five Deity.
Planet: Chitigri (chitigri singular, humanoid tigers) share their homeworld, Zodee-Ak, with eleven other sentient beings -- Thermophthalmoswine (humanoid pigs), Ascendogalli (Ascendogallus singular; humanoid chickens), Phantophthalmovi (Phantovus singular; humanoid sheep), Accelerolapins (Accelerolapin singular; humanoid rabbits), Mediequi (Mediequus singular, humanoid horses), Pyrodracobreaths (humanoid dragons), Robomi (Robomus singular, humanoid rats), Herculoxen (Herculox singular, humanoid oxen), Inviserpens (humanoid snakes), Proteasimia (humanoid monkeys), and Enerdogs (humanoid dogs) -- all destroyed by the Yeerks, leaving Shadow the only survivor.
Origin: Shadow was roughly twelve years old when the Yeerks came and found that they could not infest any of the species as their specific species abilities and such did not allow them to do such.  So they destroyed them.  Shadow survived and, having been trained in the ninja-like ways of Po-Kee-Mon (couldn't resist  ;)) stowed away on the ship as it left Zodee-Ak.

Well, there you have it.  Any problems?

(well the colony is on earth's moon its a penal colony so is he coming as a recently acquired host species? oh and if there is a fight scene be unexpected and slightly graphic.)

(I was thinkin' stowaway.  Chitigris' dark fur makes it easy for them to blend into shadows, and, I should mention, Shadow is skilled at stealth.  And he's not unarmed -- he is carrying the Element Sword -- a sword that burns the palms of another user -- and a large amount of shurikens -- some explosive, some cryogenic . . .)

Title: Re: Animorphs: An alternate future
Post by: Cloak on June 15, 2009, 10:24:35 PM
(in another words, start posting my character? Okay -- only he will have been misled into believing he's heading into the heart of the Yeerk Empire.)

Shadow lurked in the corner of the ship.  He was unsure if he had been spotted, but risked the fact that he hadn't been.  He was sure that this shuttle was going to the heart of the parasite's empire.  He couldn't help but mull over the absolute massacre on Zodee-Ak.  It had occured after he had mastered the ninja-like art of Poh-Kee-Mawn ((yes, I changed it slightly)) -- the bug-like ships and several axe-like ships descended from the skies.

Shadow remembered his disbelief.  Aliens were something of fiction -- they couldn't be real.  His disbelief ended quite quickly as the ships opened fire after a full week of hanging in the atmosphere.  Trees and shrubs -- incinerated.  People . . . Shadow suddered to think about it.  All those he ever cared about -- gone.  Incinerated into nothingness.

Only he survived.  Why? Shadow constantly thought.  What makes me so special?  Why'd I survive while others failed to?

He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard that the shuttle was approaching its destination.  He debated whether to kill the pilot and the flight crew -- but resigned to the reality that doing as such would cause suspicion and give his foes a clue to his existance on the shuttle. . . .

The white-eyed imp turned made a run for the door as Yarin opened it, thinking its jailers had come back to taunt it. It was amazing how it practically decelerated in midair once it saw Raisuli, who caught it by its foot. The imp let out a jabbering chime, its species' mode of speech. It was happy to see its Bondmate.

As they walked with Yarin, Raisuli tensed, preparing for an attack. He didn't have long to wait. A group of large creatures that looked like sand-worms, the blade-walkers, and a few blue things that resembled herd animals with bladed tails rounded the corner. He was sure they were coming for the escape party. The Harau immediately shifted from his bipedal mode to all four legs - much better when fighting unarmed - and let out a low, coughing roar. The sand-worms quivered. They would be the first to die.

A bound or two, and he was upon them like a fox among ducklings. His sharp, powerful Harau claws pounded and tore their flesh, their cries of Ssssrrreeeeeaaaahhh! like music to the warrior. The imp's knifelike fingers and toes could have made short work of the Taxxons, but instead it went for the bladed tall-walkers, using the blunt edges as a climbing tree (imps being forest-dwellers originally) and went about the nasty business of putting out the Hork-Bajirs' eyes. An Andalite struck at Raisuli, opening a gash in the warrior's side. He left the Taxxons (which went to devouring each other) and struck at the Andalite-Controller's belly region. A few hits and it tore, the Controller now spending its energy trying to keep its viscera from falling out and retaining enough energy to morph out of the injuries. It began morphing into a kafit bird to try and escape the injury.

Shadow saw the ship dock with -- with whatever it was.  Shadow prepared himself -- he believed he was to gut the entire empire, all by himself.  He was inflicted with the foolishness that inevitably comes with youth.  Although twelve years old, he was full grown by Chitigris standards, but still naive about such things.

The fact that he managed to sneak out of the shuttle and onto the platform below, and into a nearby pool of shadow without so much as a glance added to this hubris of his.

You say you need a Hork-Bajir?

Name: Vek Notur
Species: Hork-Bajir Seer
Gender: Male

Appearance: Your average, male Hork-Bajir.  :P  However, you can see a glimmer of intelligence in his eyes.

Personality:
Vek is not a peaceful Hork-Bajir; at times he can be vengeful, and hateful.  In combat, he gains a certain blood-thirst, and blades fly.  However, he is highly intelligent, and his actions are dependant upon what he thinks is most logical.  Vek is fluent in Galard, English, Yeerkish, and Hork-Bajir, but sometimes mixes his languages, because he’s heard a mixture as a child.

Biography:
Vek was born into Yeerk slavery.  They knew he was a Seer, so he was raised to be the host of a high-ranked Yeerk.  He was kept in high-security confinement; the Yeerks did not like Seers.  When he came of age, he was given to Visser Fourteen, to serve as his host, and was thus for two years, until one day when his ship was captured by Andalites.  The Andalites were puzzled by the Seer, who eventually left them in his own ship, and was welcomed into Earth's resistance, eventually.

(Here's the fight scene i promised you all.)

Yarin could see into his enemy’s minds as clearly as if he were looking into a lake.  The Taxxon's little more than cannibalistic beasts, the Hork-Bajir stupid lumbering bark eaters. And the andalites, their natural arrogance made even more apparent by the Yeerks in their heads.  Yarin decided to have some fun with them.  It was useless to infiltrate the Taxxon's minds the Hork-Bajir he could get to but there wasn't much to work with.  Now the Andalite that was where he could really show his "creative" side.  He unsheathed his Tovreet, which he had retrieved from his 4th dimensional storage satchel, and began slicing a path to the remaining Andalite controllers turning quickly as he went, the four one foot long tri bladed daggers quickly grew slick with alien blood.
At last Yarin made it to the Andalite controller, he activated his camouflage and jumped on the Andalite's back grabbing it by his head with two of his hands and restrained its tail with the other two. he easily invaded its mind and saw the Yeerk's consciousness inside of the Andalite's he placed illusions of himself and Raisuli in place of two Hork-Bajir controllers he leaped off the Andalites back as it attacked the two Hork-Bajir controllers.  He turned a corner and came face to face with a Leeran controller.  The Leeran grinned at him. You can not hope to defeat me I can see into your mind I know all your fears. It said to Yarin telepathically Yarin let out a laugh "You fool you may know all my fears but you know not of my skill of the mind." he latched onto the Leeran and probed deep he saw family friends of the Leeran and he saw previous hosts of the Yeerk inside.  He pushed even deeper and reached the Leeran's mental core and when he resurfaced from inside its psyche he left nothing behind.

Name: Ana LeIon (An alien)
Age: ~19
Gender: Female
Personality: Cold and calculating, she is always willing to do what it takes to take out who she needs.
Race: Genetically created by the Yeerks
Background: A scientist was trying to create the perfect weapon. He used a number of DNAs, including Andalite, human, Hork-Bajir, Taxxon, and a number of others. She was one of 20 that survived past the test tube.
Her number was 16. Only she and 4 survived to puberty. A few of them ended up killing each other, and one ate two of the others as the hunger started. She was affected by it, but not as badly. 4 was not affected at all by it.
Eventually 4 decided to break out. He didn't want to be a slave. He hated being reigned in...to be kept from killing. So she left with him, but eventually ended up leaving him.
She had no name except for 16, until someone called her an alien. She heard Ana LeIon, and that became her name. Now she kills whomever she wants for a price.
Appearance: Ana stands at about 6'7". She is covered in blue fur and stands on two legs that end in Hork-Bajir-like feet. She has a Hork-Bajir style tail that she often rests on. She has silver-blue hair that hits just under her chin.
Her main eyes are a deep green and her stalk-eyes are red, jelly-like things.
She wears a black mask-like thing that allows her to breathe. Without it, the air is toxic to her after about half-an-hour. The thing provides a drug she needs to survive that is filtered through as she breathes. It digs into her skin, leaving permanent holes in her skin that covers her small, round, Taxxon-like mouth. She eats only meat, but is not driven completely by her need to eat.

I can't help it; after all this talk of Andalite-Controllers...I need to bring this Indar in.  XD
I'd introduce Vek...but with all the Leerans, it would be hard for him to hide.

Name: Indar 632/Baravan-Teralis-Amuri
Race: Yeerk/Andalite
Rank: Controller/Former Aristh

Personality: Indar is a lonely Yeerk, having lost his lover, Tarrit to the war.  He now fights for nothing, because where there was once hope for the future, there is now a void.  He remains serving the Empire, though he is sure there is something greater out there for the Yeerk people.  His host has been lonely all his life, and is now divided on his feelings towards the Yeerk who so suddenly brought "companionship" to his world.  He hopes that there's actually good in this Yeerk...though he doubts this, and fears he is like the rest.

Bio: His first host was a Gedd, and his second host was a Taxxon.  He never liked being in a Taxxon - who would?  Well...certain people might, but that's not important now.  Indar spent much of his time as a Taxxon, and those are memories he will never forget.  His third host was a Hork-Bajir, and it was in this host that he found his love:  Tarrit.  Eventually, though, she was lost to him - slaughtered mercilessly before his eyes by an Andalite.  The Taxxons began to devour her, but their mad feast was ended by the bloodthirsty Andalite.  Indar's host was the next victim; the Andalite watched him drown in his own blood before passing by nonchalantly.

It was back to the pool for Indar; the Yeerk was depressed, and spent his days trying to distract himself.  He absorbed as much knowledge as he could from Yeerk databanks to distract himself.  His knowledge did not go unnoticed, and he was granted a host:  an Andalite aristh...sort of on the low end when it came to Andalites, but an honour to such a lowly Yeerk.  Still, Indar was not happy...especially since this was an Andalite, and he felt disgusted just being in him.  Indar now resigned himself to serve the Empire, and do as ordered to.

Shadow kept to the shadows, and saw a large battle.  He decided not to get involved.  A minor scuffle was not his concern.  He had to find the source of these parasites power.  He knew it was a pool of some sort, but his arrogance was not diminished.

Pondroca: (Just a draft)
Appearance: Ranging from pink to blue and every other color in between, it is small and furry. It looks a bit like a bunny with sharp fangs. It has a longer snout than a rabbit and a black nose that constantly seems to be moving. It's a fast species. A little slower than a Garatron, but still very speedy. It can walk and run on its hind legs, but it moves fastest on all six. Instead of paws, it has tiny, four-toed hand-like things that end in tiny claws.

What do ya think?  ;D Critiques and other such things are perfectly welcome. And you're perfectly allowed to hate it, too. ^_^

here's what was decided that the Pondroca would look like
Appearance Self-inflicted scar tattoos. Speaks Galard. Green carapace, hides wings inside it. Is reptilian/insectoid with avian qualities and bright green. Sticky-pad feet, long finger-claws. Bright green with black eyes. Long, sinewy legs - this beast is fast. Double-jointed arms.
Personality: Utterly insane and psychotic shows no allegiance to anyone, he's so insane any telepath that tries to read him will suffer ill effects. oh and he might be a cannibal
What i want is for him to fly in during some Yeerk battle and effortlessly defeat some Yeerk commander or something and he totally destroys them callously without any regard to sentient life.

Shadow proceed slowly into the inner workings of the facility, but truly had no idea where he was going.  Every time one of those bladed creatures, or gangly two-legged creatures, or those ravenous worms walked by he sunk into the shadows.  He was beginning to get very uneasy about those worms . . .

After he had attacked the two, killing them both instantly as they stared at him, confused, Indar blinked, as the illusion in his mind dissipated.  Hork-Bajir blood dripped from his tail.  Taxxons were devouring the dead Hork-Bajir, as the Andalite-Controller stood, confused and afraid, as well as traumatised.  He brought his hand to his head, feeling it, then stepped back from the scene, lowering his tailblade to the ground in a show of surrender.

<I will no longer fight,> he told one of the aggressors.  <Go ahead and kill me...>

((OOC: Of course, don't kill him.  XD.  I'd like him to be coaxed to the resistance's side)).

Yarin grabbed the Andalite controller by the stalk-eyes, "I should kill you for being what you are however I will let you live if you relinquish your allegiance to the Yeerk empire and join me in destroying them.  But be warned, if you betray me you will pray for death to end the suffering I will inflict upon you."  Yarin turned to the quivering mass that was once a Leeran. "That is what happens to those who challenge me."
Title: Re: Animorphs: An alternate future
Post by: Crimea River on June 20, 2009, 07:53:59 AM
Indar shuddered, but at least the creature was willing to give him mercy.  And his stalk-eyes were really in pain now.  <Fine.  I will aid you.  I was never loyal to the Empire anyway...>  He trailed off.  Yarin, if he looked into the Andalite-Controller's mind, would find that he was true in what he said.  He had his reasons.  Tarrit...killed by an Andalite, devoured by Taxxon's.  A subvisser, was laughing at the pain it caused Indar.

Shadow was penetrating further into the bowels of the facility -- then he came upon strange creatures.  One with four legs, a bladed tail, two arms, and four eyes, another with six eyes, four arms and two legs, and another with a feline form like himself.  Shadow remained within the shadows, watching.

Ana lept down and struck with her blades, slaughtering another Hork-Bajir. She had taken down her target. Now it was just a matter of getting out.
That was proving to be harder than she expected. Still, at least it was something of a challenge. She ran her blades over her blue fur, staining it with the blood. She froze when she heard voices. Snaking a stalk-eye around the corner, she could see a small group in front of her.

Indar blinked as Yarin turned green.  Such an odd creature, he thought.  He could understand why the Yeerks had imprisoned him.  He wondered why the Yeerks hadn't killed him; typically, what the Yeerks didn't understand and couldn't conquer, they destroyed.  It was, possibly, a good thing that they hadn't.  Maybe their tyranny would be brought to an end by this motley group of alien creatures.  <Okay,> he said, and began to follow Yarin.

They escaped the prison and ran across the moon's surface the Yeerks had added an artificial atmosphere to make it easier to transport new hosts. They got to Yarin's ship when suddenly they heard a noise, someone shouting behind them.

That was all Yarin needed he grabbed her arms with his lower limbs and her head with his upper.  He latched onto her mind and probed deeply trying to find a weakness.
Title: Re: Animorphs: An alternate future
Post by: traycon3 on June 28, 2009, 03:31:29 PM
Ana narrowed her eyes and swept her tail upwards. You will find no weakness, she said. I have had more mental training than you will ever know. It was true. She had been trained to give nothing up. Not even a Yeerk could immediately get all the information he needed. Though that had something to do with the way her brain worked, the way it fired information between her brain.
Title: Re: Animorphs: An alternate future
Post by: Yarin on June 28, 2009, 03:35:09 PM
I do not need to probe to find a weakness. Yarin said telepathically.  I can merely touch the pain centers of your brain and cast you into an agony from which you will never recover.

Indar watched, tailblade raised, though this creature was something...beyond what he was capable of destroying.  He moved towards the downed Yarin, extending a friendly hand down to his comrade, stalk-eyes fixated on the creature.  <I am a Yeerk, yes; Indar 632.  Not all projects are made public to...lesser Yeerks.  Tell me please, what are you?  And what have you come to do?>

"So you are a Yeerk. But what about the other?" She stared at Indar. "My purpose here was to kill a Yeerk of no concern to you. That purpose is complete."

She tilted her head. "You may address me as Ana LeIon, for that is what I am. A combination of alien species to create an entirely new one. Tell me, are you seeking to leave this place?"

Shadow understood the "seeking to leave here part" but he didn't know if he could trust these creatures.  So he decided to read their auras as all of Chitigers are trained to do from a young age.  They had friendly auras, Shadow discovered.  But he did not leave the shadows. . . .

But, no, it was not true.  They had blue auras and red auras.  Shadow realized that none of these creatures had that small red aura. . . . Could he possibly trust them?  If they were in league with his enemies their auras would be reddish. . . .

Yarin turned to his ship computer "Jalnoc." he asked, "How long will we get to the nearest planet?"
The very realistic looking hologram of an attractive young Nyac female suddenly appeared "At our current speed we should arrive in approximately 14 hours 10 minuets."
"What was that thing?" one of his guests asked.  "That was Jalnoc she is my ship's computer, she serves as my navigation and guide and on my longer voyages as my companion." Yarin said with a slightly lecherous look in his eye.
"I have set the ship on auto pilot please do not touch anything.  If you require anything just ask and Jalnoc will provide it for you.  I will be in my observation room I do not wish to be disturbed." and with that Yarin left his companions alone to their thoughts
(Please someone disturb him it will move the story along.)

She amused herself walking down the corridors, lost in thought.
Finally she came to a room. She pressed on the button to allow the door to open. When it did not, she frowned. She knelt down and...persuaded it to open. "Oh. I was not aware this was the room you were in," she said to Yarin.

Yarin turned to Ana, on his head was a contraption with many wires connecting him to the ship. What are you doing? she asked. "I am using my telepathy combined with Jalnoc sensors to scan for potential allies while simultaneously shielding our position from our enemies." Suddenly Yarin recoiled as if struck by an unseen force. What happened? Ana asked?  "I do not know." Yarin said. "I have never felt anything like that it was like pure chaos and evil."

Shadow did study the hologram, but couldn't understand why nature would abuse a species like that.  No claws and their teeth weren't particularly frightening.  Shadow assumed they must have some kind of external weaponry, because they certainly didn't have any biological ones. . . .

Yarin stared at his comrades in arms "We are here to destroy the Yeerk leader of this planet Visser 2 she has a Makaran host thereby freeing this planet and in the process cripple the Yeerk empire." They followed him off the ship they were soon surrounded by a group of natives holding primitive projectile weapons. they were wearing dark ragged clothing and that made it easy for them to blend in to their surroundings. Yarin detected no Yeerks within any of them.
(Ok i've named the Visser's species and no we just need a body and personality. I don't want her to be insanely evil just a bad guy i want her to ultimately join our guys of course albeit self preservation when the universe is threatened by the Pondroca Kuum!tc'l)

Name: Alyssa
Age:26
Personality:Smart and resourceful, not easily trusting. Tough exterior from fighting so long. It hides a lot of emotional turmoil-fear and doubt. She tolerates the YPMers but can't convince herself to trust them completely.
Biography:She was enslaved like most of the other humans at first, but was rescued by the resistance group in one of its raids. She proved to be a valuable asset and eventually took on leading the group when the old leader died. She's still hoping to free more of her family if she gets the chance.
Special Talents: She's become good at improvising and basically just surviving with her group. She has no formal training but picked up a lot of skills in the field. She isn't particularly big or strong so she lives by her wits and often a good deal of luck. She would desperately like to obtain a morphing cube, but at that probably won't happen soon.

Down on Earth, the resistance group was in a bit of a spot, having cornered a mixed group of aliens. They didn't know, though, that these weren't controllers. Alyssa, the group leader, studied them, the thought passing through her mind that the yeerks sure found a lot of new hosts quickly. Some of the species were new to her.

Shadow checked that his shurrikens were in good working order, all of which carried a charge that would either explode, electrocute, freeze, among other effects when the timer ticked down after approximately 1.2 minutes.  The Element Sword which would absorb and deflect minor projectile damage.  ((Think light saber.  Good for handheld Dracon beams, very ineffectual -- not to mention foolish -- against Dracon cannons.))

Shadow remained within the shadows, every muscle tensed, alert to every sound.  He said nothing, as he was not sure he could trust these creatures.  Shadow decided to deftly scan their auras. . . .

Ana stood, looking around. Her stomach growled. "Do you people have food?" she inquired, her mechanical voice full of need. Her desires were getting stronger because she was surrounded by warm, fresh meat. Even if it was all still living and walking around. She clenched her hands into fists. It had been a while since she had been around this many people. A bit of blood trickled from her palms. It was dark, black with just a trace of red.

Name: (Cant say)

Alias: ShadowBlade

Species: G'ranail (Custom: Creatures born in the form of a humanoid and can control shadows depending on the time they spend learning it)

Age:17

Powers: Animorph:Shadow Controller Master

Personality:Short tempered. Has great control of his G'ranail powers. He is very wise for his 17 years of age. He tends to meditate a lot. When in battle you will find no other as easily adapted to killing.

Background:Shadowblade was born on G'ranial as the emporors son. His father was captured and takin by the Yeerks they then started taking over the entire species. Shadow had chosen to flee rather then try and fight at the time. He knew he could take out a few thousand by the time he was captured but had heard of the group of warriors battling the Yeerks. So he went in search of any of the members of that group. He found Tobias (From the books but he was changed back to human and kept his powers) and Tobias told him of the Animorphs and how they were all killed except him and Cassie and then she was murdered recently to. He then explained his powers and how they worked. Then he chose to give Shadow the same abilities by way of the cube.

Different Forms Most Commonly Used: Gantris (tall beings about 400 stories tall but slower then any other species), Torchists (Humanoids that are completely consumed by there living fire) Andalite (Most should know of this form if your on this site) Human (For blending in) Neseliss'sten (an underwater dwelling creature that can survive any form of pressure even the greatest depths of its home world which is only water) Textren'ka Le mo (bat like creatures that have echo sonar that can travel for miles giving the greatest of details) Hork M'jir (A form of a greater intelligence of the close relatives, also they have a speed they can reach which is close to the speed of light)

Techniques recently found: Due to his great knowledge he has learned how to change from one form to another without reverting to his original. He can also last 7 hours instead of two due to a chemical imbalance when shifting

Lurking in the shadows, Shadowblade slowly tiptoed towards the Yeerk who had inhabited a friend of his. It needed to leave its host now so it could change bodies. Shadowblade would have to wait for the perfect moment to attack and rescue his friend.

Imagining his Andalite form he felt the shifting of his body begin. Slowly eyes on stalks popped out of the top of his head as another pair of legs grew from his torso which elongated and his hands grew 2 more fingers before getting weaker. Then he fell forward onto his now hooved pairs of legs. And then the final changes appeared, he was covered in blue-ish fur and his scorpion like tail emerged.

His transformations were faster then most but that was because of his control over his mental energies which was a key to shifting faster.

Softly walking closer Shadow spotted the Yeerk slithering out of his host. Soon the man screamed for help. At that point he knew he had to act or it would be to late.

Lashing out his tail he cut the Yeerk in half then imagining every part of his body shifting to Hork M'jir form except his tail he kept lashing out at all of the other species of controllers that were charging at him. As soon as his shift was nearly complete he gave in and finished it.

Upon doing so he started lashing out at high speeds he has capable only in this form. Cutting down hundreds of Controllers before he realized his friend had already shifted to his Peregrine Falcon form which made Shadowblade leapt high and push his transformation even faster so before he even began his decent he was in his Saker Falcon form. One of the only forms he took from his trips to Earth.

Flapping to gain altitude he flew in the direction of the escape hatch which would be there only way out.

<Come on Markus! Lets go!> He shouted out in thought speech to his friend.

But then he felt a scorching heat lance through his right wing. Screeching out his pain he glared down at the Human-Controller who had shot him.

Flapping harder to stay afloat he imagined the great bat form of Textren'ka Le Mo and shot up out of the hatch into the cool air of the Andalite home planet which had been being attacked recently.

Shooting off his echolocation he noticed a car near by and shouted out to Markus in thought speech <Yo 4 o'clock theres a car! Drop behind it and go human then andalite for me. We need you in the easiest form for you to blend>

<Roger.> He thought in responce before dropping behind the car and beggining his changes. Shadowblade slowly let himself lose altitude changing in mid air to his andalite form once again.

Then there was 2 Andalite warriors instead of one on that street, They quickly gallaped away towards the Resistance Headquarters where they called home.

Ana narrowed her stalk-eye that swung towards him. "Who are you?" she growled mechanically. Her tongue licked the inside of her breathing apparatus. It tasted like plastic and strained against her skins slightly. Blackish blood dribbled down her cheeks. She reached up a hand and wiped it off, lifting it to her face to stare at it. Her small teeth clacked noisily.
