A heads up for all: I'm going to be away working at a Girl Scout summer camp June 1st through August 3rd. There will be internet in the staff house, but I don't know how often I'll have access to it.

Girl Scout camp? Yeah...you can forget having access to internet lol. you're gonna be too busy running around lol

I know I'll have Saturdays off starting June 14th. I get an hour break every day, and one night off during the week while the kids are there.
Seemed like a more fun way to earn some cash than retail.

if you're definitely in, let me know! unlike rennfest, i'm on the fence about this one, especially if i'm going alone. con-goers scare me! (unlike rennies, who apparently don't....? erm. logic.......?) anywhos, i'd be willing to drive. :)

eventually, i'm planning on cosplaying elsa. i just don't (currently) have the money (or time) for the outfit, haha. it IS up there on my 'to-do' list, though. :) i can't wait to see your anna!! :)

Well, I leave for camp in a couple hours. I'm nervous as hell, partly because I hate driving to new places. I'm always afraid I'll get lost or something.

All I wanted to do from ages 11 to 14 was work at a boy scout camp. Gaz you're going to have an awesome time!

I made it safely. Today is pretty relaxed. Tomorrow staff training begins.
I'm not sure if otakon will be workable for me after all. As much as I want to go.

Summer camp is great so far, and im sure its amazing experience. But at the moment this job is costing me more than im earning it seems.
Granted fishing out nearly $200 for the vet didn't help. But I don't regret helping little Bruce for a second.
What I really need to do is not go out to eat so much. I've gone out to eat so much over the past month. On nights off when people at camp ask me I say yes. I need to stop that.

That's cool the camp is local enough to go out to eat instead of eating camp food.
Any camp I worked at, it was an hour to three into town.

Glad im not the only one. Lol
I get paid again on the 15th. But I really need to save money for grad stuff. Parking and books and such.
