Just wondering if we were gonna transfer and start it up again. I mean, it's up to duff, but I kinda wanna start up where we left off.

(Anna, if you want to join the rest of us, you can write an explosion that both causes a Sario Rip and kills your other self, teleporting you to us. Plausible enough, considering. LIGHTBULB IDEA!!! We need to re-write the BASIC info about each of us, before we get going, for a quick-reference. Please, everyone, give me your characters' ages and current morphs, and I'll sketch out a timeline of everything since the first Invasion. It would help A LOT if someone would remind me which page of Old O.MAAS had my rough sketch of all our ages. I can't seem to find it. Phooey. Anywho, I don't EXPECT you to follow my example, I'm just doing it this way to organize my thoughts.)

It appears that our back-stories are conflicting with each other. Pooh. Well, let's see... Isabel met Aximili, already liason between Earth and his planet, when she was three. Isabel is twenty-seven now, and her father was already an ambassador when she was born. We COULD assume that the war went on four years longer than it said in the books [which didn't really give very specific timelines for the war itself], or we could say that there was a secondary war on Earth. Perhaps anti-alien fanatics and renegade Yeerks united against the Hork-Bajir and Andalite peoples, and the war itself began and ended on Earth. Eventually Earth is an Empire controlled by Asia[now including Australia and Oceania], Europe [now united as a single dominant country including Africa] and America [now including Mexico and South America]. Russia is neutral territory, and it controls the entirety of both poles [as well as Canada, Alaska, and Scandinavia, basically everything COLD]. These four super-countries are known as the Four Republics, each led by a single individual and a parliamentary legislature. The Southern Hemisphere was taken over by leaders that thought the Andalites wanted to conquer us, and wanted to separate from our influence (Africa, Australia, Oceania, Antarctica, and South America.) That would mean that there were actually THREE wars: the War of the Invasion, the War of the Rebellion, and the War of the Secession. Invasion: begun and ended 2000. Rebellion: begun 2017, ended 2018. Secession: begun 2028, ended 2039 with the fall of the CIA, orchestrated by Isabel and Shade. This war was actually probably partially caused by refugee Yeerks who resented Andalite influence in America and Europe. The CIA was their final stronghold. This was the longest and bloodiest war in history, lasting 11 years.
Our ages, oldest to youngest: Daniel Nabet-37, William Higgins-29, Isabel Stone-27, Poison- 20, Leia Burg- 19, Ellie Hunter- 17, Juggernaut- unknown.
Let's say that the first war was over in real time, 2000. Nabet was born during the peace of 2001, and he was part of the second war in 2018. Isabel was born 2013, during the peace before the second war. She met Aximili in 2016, for peace talks with her dad. In 2017, the peace talks failed and the war of the Rebellion began. Higgins was born 2011, and he was in the navy in the Secession war, 2038. Poison was born 2020, Leia was born 2021, and Ellie was born 2023, all three of them children of peacetime. It is now 2040, and we all believed that Operation MAAS was to stop morphing crime that sprang up after the last war. Hopefully this suits you all. Since it is so "future" now, I will give us some interesting new inventions, which I mentioned early on but hadn't implemented.
Higgins and company, I will now create a post leading up to our escape. Jayne, if you want Erik mutated like Isabel, let things proceed and tell me what animal. If you want him to stay...normal...cut the power to the ship's lights and morph-inhibitors. I will employ some of that "psychic" stuff, too.

While Higgins was working with Juggernaut to get us a ride home, Erik and I were working with Daniel to stabilize Leia, who was flashing all sorts of spazzy colors on my morph-vision. If I didn't know better, I'd say that she was having some sort of reaction to the morphing technology itself.
"Higgins! How is that transport coming along? Do you know how long it will take to get out of here? Leia needs help soon."

I was awake! For the first time in my life I was truly awake! I could feel energy flowing though- no from my body. I was aware of every cell, all of them were forcing out the nanites that gave me the ability to morph.
I realized that I was getting cold. Ice! someone was putting Ice in me! No, the heat was good, it had to finish it's job or I would die!
I started to panic and suddenly there was a release of energy that sent someone against a wall.
"Leave her! This must be finished!" I heard myself say.

"Oof!" The air rushed out of me as I struck the wall, tossed effortlessly by some unseen force. Leia?
I sucked in a breath and regained my senses just in time to avoid falling badly, and I landed on my feet, like a cat ought to land.
If Leia was the source of the power, she needed to control it before she killed someone. I partially morphed Tiger and let some of my weight rest on her torso, pinning her to the ground.
<Leia! Snap out of this! You are putting us in danger. YOU WILL CONTROL YOURSELF. NOW.>
I put as much focus as I could into my thought-speech, doing what I could to bring her back to a cognizant state.

(um, I THINK this is where I was lol haha sorry it's so short.)
I woke up in an ambulance. Those stupid birds made me fall off the roof! I looked around at the paramedics. I had to get out of this, but I couldn't morph now, could I? I closed my eyes and decided to just listen to them talk. The sirens weren't going so I knew I wasn't hurt too bad. After what seemed like 15 minutes I learned that I had broken a few bones but I'd be alright, they were wondering who I was too. That was good, I'd rather them not know. After a while it seemed as though they were done talking about me, so I decided to just relax for a bit and come up with a plan. I didn't know what happened to the rest of the team, they could be up in space for all I knew. Once I got out of this I decided I'd go try and find them. I began thinking of a plan.

"You must let the transmutation continue or this body will die. It should take another 1.8 Earth minutes." I didn't say it, but it still came out of my mouth. Was I a controller?
You must understand, this is necessary Leia.
Who are you?
I am the nanites that enable you to morph. My programer knew that this was a possibility among humans and built a subroutine to stabilize the transformation. If the process is interrupted it will result in a dramatic mutation which will kill you.
Ohh... Well... Okay I guess.

The plot was on the verge of dying when the forum moved, anyway. Why not start completely fresh?

Yea I’ve actually been thinking about that too este. I think it could be a fun idea. What do you think guys? Wanna have another go? Lol But instead of just a restart, I think a complete revamp might be a good idea, to allow for some new storylines and keep things interesting.
But not changing the characters or the actual world we’ve created, cause I think it kicks arse lol, but changing the situation we’re in. So we could ignore the old timeline and just move ahead to something else, or we could ignore that stuff and start at a fresh meeting.
What I think would be good is if everyone who is interested in restarting come up with an idea or two of how we could revamp the rp, then we can start a new thread and depending on how many we get back maybe add a new character or two, but since almost everyone’s still around we might not need to.
So, what do you guys think? Play Again? And what should we make it about?

My ideas:
1. Each of us has, at some point, invented an NPC. Start over as THAT character, in place of the main one. I'd be playing Onyx, I think, if that happened. She doesn't have enough plot. Tsk tsk.

2. Each of us plays our usual character, to avoid the confusion, but we re-write their histories and the plot. For starters, Isabel Stone must stop being a flippin' Mary-Sue. Yes. That's right. I wrote a Sue. So sue me.

we could time travel back to the 70's and discover that the roller disco we all hang out at is going to be shut down unless we can raise 30 grand in a week, the same week of the big competition

okay, we become a special forces unit of the army during wartime, it can either be an old war and we are all just meeting, or we can acknowledge the old rp and just move time ahead to where we werent able to prevent the fourth war
the world is almost completely infested by yeerks and we're a small underground resistance force, kinda like #41 lol

Another idea: we restart the RP, with the following:
It's the 4th war, a long and nasty one, we failed to prevent it, and our CHILDREN (or clones, like Erik) are serving in our places. Actually, Anna + Jayne could probably keep their own characters, who are young enough now that later they could play the older ones. I'd use a character who is another Stone/Shade hybrid (or an Onyx/Shade hybrid, to mix it up), with much less Mary-Sue factor. We could ALL be specially trained Estreens, really. It would be a war setting instead of a City, and we would NEED to keep it on Earth OR in space, and not jump back and forth between them.

If you are reading this...well...it's a very good sign for Earth if you are reading this, because it will mean that we haven't failed, even if we are long gone. Sure, by the time this gets to you, the facts will have been rearranged to fit the politicians' and militaries' stories. Still, I'd like for somebody, at least ONE PERSON, to have the truth of it all. Sure, you know what you saw on the news, what you read in the history books. I know what you've probably been told. Well...most of it, maybe all of it, is a lie.
Hopefully my story and the stories of my friends will be enough to show you what really happened.
If you've read this far, then maybe you have an idea, from their last journals, what William Higgins, Isabel Stone, Daniel Nabet, Ellie Hunter, and Leia Burg were like before they died. Maybe you've even learned some things about Juggernaut. I've saved these papers, kept them in secret, for the day that someone would find them here in this old ruin, the last remains of the New York Public Library, where it all started for them. Where the Last War started.
If you met me on the street and I told you my name, you would probably kill me on the spot, no questions asked. Why?
My name is Miranda Lucas. I am twenty-six years old, and a three-way war is raging between the Human/Hork-Bajir alliance, the Andalites, and the Yeerks. I am...or, by the time you read this, I WAS...the fourth of seven super-clones created from the recombinant DNA of Isabel Stone and Alexander Lucas. I think that the rest are already dead at the time of this writing, but I can't be sure. Erik, Sebastian, and Ariel...they have to be dead, I know it...but the other three might still live. I don't know. It doesn't matter. They can't help me now, anyway. Nobody can. I have just enough time, I think, to write this down and hide it before the next wave of shock troops arrives at the door. I cannot win this time. Not alone.

All I can say is that we did our best, against all odds, and I, for one, can claim no situation in which I would have acted differently. I think that my friends...my family... would say the same, if they were still here to tell their tales. Each of them secretly kept a journal like mine, and I managed to find them all and piece them together, in the order that it all happened. Just like my...father...did for my mother, and for Higgins, and for the entire team. What you read here is not for the faint-of-heart, and it will change the way you read the propaganda in your textbooks. Are you sure that you want to read this? Very well. Let's start nine years ago, when I was only seventeen. Let's start at the beginning of the end.

2. They are descendants of the other original characters.
3. They are random people that got dragged into the story.

Age: 16
Personality: athletic, smart, absolutely no regard for rules.
Looks: Short dark hair, 5'8'', average weight, muscular
History: His mother was Karen Nabet, and his father was Steven Temple. His grandfather, Daniel Nabet, died when Tyler was only 3 and at the age of 6 Tyler's namesake and grandfather's best friend taught him how to wield a sword. Tyler was on his high school's football team and maintanted a 94 average. His father, a scientist working on the ways to improve the Efascil Device, gave Tyler the morphing power when he was 10. By the age of 14 Tyler had been kicked out of 5 schools for morphing people in positions of authority and playing pranks on the teachers or principal. Although still in high school, Tyler found ways to seem older, from his wide array of fake IDs to his morphs of people much older than him. Tyler had always felt the need to live up to his grandfather and had vowed to join the army as soon as he turned 18. When the newest war had begun, Tyler used one of his fake IDs to get into the army.

History: Lynn recently found out she was adopted. She decided to find her biological family, leading her around the world and eventually to a ranch in the middle of the Australian Outback.
Tidbits: Most likely won't be getting the morphing power. Her family relationship depends on when the new RP is set.

I swung my sword and killed the nearest Hork-Bajir
"Hunter, Higgens, I need the co-ordinates now or the entire place could explode!"
Hunter was still working on the computer looking for the co-ordinates while Higgens in his gorilla morph and stone in her tiger morph fought off the onslaught of controllers with me, stopping them from getting to her.
"5 4 3 2 1" the loud computer voice chirped before the building exploded, killing all of us who were inside of it

I'm fed up with this. We've got Duff, Anna, Shanker, Jax, Xan, Demos, and me. All of us have suggested getting this going again. I've made a genuine effort to set the ball rolling, and it totally fell to pieces.

Idea, for whatever the heck it's worth: Very simply, we start over. Our characters are essentially what they were to begin with, but... we'll call this an Alternate Reality O.MAAS. Things started out differently. 'We' met in different circumstances. Maybe a few things about our personal histories have changed. Events in the characters lives happened differently.
Keep your characters. Keep your morphs. Scrap your preconceived notions of this plot. C'mon. Whaddayasay?

We start off with different intro-posts. We go on the premise that it's maybe 40-years post-Animorphs. We're vigilante-ish stopping morph-crime, to begin. May change later. *shrug*

Reverse that. Different universe/sequence-of-events, same characters, more-or-less, as the originals.
Stone, for instance, may have a very different personal history and thus may be somewhat less a Mary-Sue. Nabet may have different people haunting his past. Hunter may have different people chasing her. Jayne may be a guy. (Oh, wait... nevermind...*chuckle*) Poison and Juggernaut may meet under different circumstances and team up against the rest of us. Higgins may decide not to trust any of us at all.
The possibilities are nigh-endless!!! ;D ;D

Background: At the age of four he was picked to be trained as a assassin. He trained for 8 years until he got his first assignment. He killed the targeted and soon after he was promoted. He became top of the underground organization. He then started dealing in the black market until he got a escafil device. He gained the power then destroyed it to let no one else have it. He robbed a bank and got away with 18.9 million, he saw the power he had and went to the US government to join. To join he was forced to turn in the entire assassin group, he gave the location but no one was there...
