It's a dark night and five celebrities decide to play hookie from a community event. They have just managed to avoid the paparazzi. In order to sneak away they have to cut through an abandoned construction site, keeping to the shadows. Suddenly, one of them sees a light in the sky. Then their whole world changes.
What five celebrities would you choose to replace the Animorphs team? Who would be the leader, the warrior, the loner? What about the peacemaker and the joker/cynic? If you want to, take it a step further, and who would be the alien?

Christian Bale's the leader, Halle Berry's the warrior, Jessica Alba's the peacemaker, Heath ledger's the joker, and Tobey Macquire's the loner. 1+ karma if anyone can figure out what these actors have in common.

Cool idea! I'm not great at picking specific roles in the group, but I'll give it a go.
Bruce Willis: Strong, smart and Die Hard. Need another reason to make him the leader?
Will Smith: Kicks ass and makes you laugh while he does it. He'd make a good Marco.
Jessica Alba: If Dark Angel is anything to go by, she can be very useful in a fight. Still, I could easily imagine her as the caring one.
Milla Jovovich: Yeerks might not be Zombies, but I'm confident she can defeat them just as well. Definitely a warrior.
David Boreanaz: Couldn't think of anybody else to play the loner and I really liked him in Angel.
Good choices Blue! And the thing they have in common is that they have all played roles in awesome Superhero movies! And snap on the Jessica Alba choice! ;)

I really wanted to put somebody for the alien role, but I couldn't think of anybody.

hmmmmmm...the chick tht played jean grey could be David cuz she was a traitor in X-men 3. or The guy tht played The new Goblin in Spiderman 3.

But it needs Zachary Quinto and Milo Ventimiglia.

Leader: Chuck Norris. Despite the fact he could win the war in a single roundhouse kick (j/k), he has a defined moral compass, slow to anger, good at problem solving.
Joker/cynic: Cheech Marin. 70's stoner movies and then as a detective in the 80's. Nuff said for both.
Warrior woman: Gina Carano. Female MMA fighter thats currently 6-0.
Loner: Christian Bale. Loner who searches for purpose.
Peacemaker: Bono.
That's for literal team to celeb team.
Now time for UBER TEAM.

off the top of my head, i would either put Angelina Jolie or Sarah Michelle Gellar as the warrior. i have to think on the others

The idea of Will Smith as Marco just makes me laugh. It would be awesome to have him as an Animorph. Also, Bruce Willis is too badass to ignore, good choice there. He could even work an evil controller too, if needed. Imagine if he had ended up playing that Victor Trent guy on the TV show? It'd still suck, but it'd still be Bruce Willis playing as an overacted villan, making it a bit more awesome.
Agreed with David Boreanez for the Loner, but I could also see him playing as a Traitor too (for David). Jessica Alba would be cool as the Warrior (I've seen Dark Angel), but like I said above, for me it's a tie between her and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Not exactly sure on who I'd pick as the peacemaker though...

I would want Arnold on my team, since he's the Terminator. He even appear in the oatmeal novel!
If celebrities became Animorphs, they would be in a great position to publicize the Yeerk threat!
