Title: Going to Ohio

I just wanted to let everyone know for the second year in a row, I will be going to Ohio to visit my in-laws this Saturday till next Saturday. My grandpa's health has gone down a lot this past year and it's important to my mom and family to go. I never really was close and maybe it's the tough or jerk in me that isn't really sad about it. Some people handle this in different ways then others..

Anyway, I will miss you all and hope to see you all when I return in a week.

That's really sad, but you have someone to share in the feeling, my grandmother is really sick too. Hope he gets better soon. Take care :)

Well...that was the longest time away from home I've been. I missed you all dearly and wanted to fill you all in the details.

My grandpa fell and broke his hip earlier this year. He was in the hospital for a long time and his heart was really bad and given a 15% chance of living, and he did. Next they took him to a nursing home and it was BAD they barely took care of him at all. He was then moved back to the hospital where he was doing really good eating, talking and his mind was really sharp. Two Saturday's ago we was told he wouldn't make it that night...and he did and he was going good.

Then Wednesday hit and all was good..then at 11:40 PM I looked in his room and his oxygen mask was over his nose and not mouth, I saw him mouth his arm and almost moaned and then...he stopped breathing. The nurses came in and officially declared him dead at 11:41 PM at the age of 85. We went to his funeral this past Monday and I got home yesterday trying to cope with it all.

Honestly I wasn't that close to my grandpa but...I saw his last breath and that scares me..Anyway...I'm back.
