Hi guys, not sure if this topic belongs on this board on on the fanfiction one so feel free to lock/move/delete as appropriate :)

Oh dang, you named both my favourites (Heroes Don't Come Home and Enter The Insane: The Rise of Esplin 9466).
The latter, I love for its detail and further insight into how Esplin went from the relatively sympathetic, understandable, and highly intelligent character he was in the Hork-Bajir Chronicles to ... well... Visser Three. XD I accept large sections of it as headcanon.

I don't really have a favorite but I do love reading crossovers with it, they're always fun to read.

Mmm... so... these are really old. Like, pre-26 old. And badly formatted. But I keep coming back to these as my all-time favorites.

Easily, The Earth Diary of Toby Hamee.

An absolute epic! The author really knows how to tug your emotions from you, and man, is the story full of such moments! Toby as a character is wonderfully developed, as are the other characters and the Hork-Bajir as a species.
The story is filled with joy, despair, love, hate, and, thankfully, a worthy ending.
Really recommend giving this fic a read!

I'm unnaturally fond of The Shifter Chronicles, though I have trouble finding them online. (I found them on ff.net, but they weren't posted with permission from the original author, so I'm hesitant to share that link) They were a classic back in the day.

Man, I haven't read fanfiction in years, so I couldn't say whats my favorite. The only one I actually remember the name of was "Aximili's Headache" cause it was crazy long and I don't think I ever finished reading it. I hardly remember what it was even about.

Something about he gets infested by Yeerk and it spirals out of control. It was LONG. Like... really, really long. I can't remember, it was like a decade ago I read it. XD;
